2.Playvideogamesonthesmallestavailabletelevisionscreen.
3.Donotplayifyouaretiredorneedsleep.
4.Playinawell-litroom.
5.Takea10to15minutebreakeveryhour.
Playingvideogamescanmakeyourmuscles,joints,skinoreyeshurt.Followtheseinstructionsto
avoidproblemssuchastendinitis,carpaltunnelsyndrome,skinirritationoreyestrain:
•Avoidexcessiveplay.Parentsshouldmonitortheirchildrenforappropriateplay.
•Takea10to15minutebreakeveryhour,evenifyoudon’tthinkyouneedit.
•Ifyourhands,wrists,armsoreyesbecometiredorsorewhileplaying,orifyoufeelsymptomssuch
astingling,numbness,burningorstiffness,stopandrestforseveralhoursbeforeplayingagain.
•Ifyoucontinuetohaveanyoftheabovesymptomsorotherdiscomfortduringorafter
play,stopplayingandseeadoctor.
Playingvideogamescancausemotionsicknessinsomeplayers.Ifyouoryourchildfeeldizzy
ornauseouswhenplayingvideogames,stopplayingandrest.Donotdriveorengageinother
demandingactivityuntilyoufeelbetter.
