The general construction shall include an injection molded case; one 4 inch power and input termination consisting of quick connect/release bare-wire terminals.

The maximum speaker dimensions shall be 5.5 inches high x 5.5 inches wide x 6.5 inches deep. The maximum weight shall be 2 pounds.

The black case shall be constructed of injection-molded ABS.

The speaker monitor shall have the ability to mount on walls, ceilings, equipment racks or speaker stands with appropriate hardware and accessories.

The system shall incorporate a line transformer for use with 70.7V distributed line systems, multiple taps of 5W, 10W and 15W will be provided.

The system shall be the Anchor Audio MINI-70.

Technical Speciﬁcations

MINI-70 Speaker Monitor

The MINI-70 is a full-range loudspeaker system engineered to provide quality

full-range sound projection in a variety of outdoor and indoor applications. Its wide

range, enhanced mid range response and high efciency ensure superb projection

of clear intelligible speech. A 70 volt line transformer with three taps provides

adjustable power setting.

* Multiply the number of speakers on each channel by 15 watts to obtain the optimum amplier power rating.

EXAMPLE 1: Five speakers per channel requires an amplier rated at 75 watts per channel. If some speakers will be set to the 5 or 10 watt taps then the minimum necessary amplier power will be less.

EXAMPLE 2: Five speakers at 15 watts, two speakers at 10 watts and two speaker at 5 watts would require an amplier rated at 105 watts minimum per channel.

Ampliers rated at signicantly more than the minimum calculated power can be safely used so long as their line output is 70 volts. Do not use the MINI-70 on 100 volt line systems. In no case should the system

volume be set to a level that produces distortion. Distortion typically occurs when an UNDERPOWERED amplier is used.
