User Instructions
Operation
1. Place the supplied batteries in the battery compartment on the bottom of
the scale. Be sure to observe battery polarity marked inside the
compartment. Replace the compartment cover.
2. Place the scale on a flat, stable surface.
3. Press the ON/TARE button.
When 0 appears, the scale is ready for weighing. See Changing Unit
of Measure below.
4. Turn the scale off by pressing the OFF button.
To perform a Tare
1. Place a container on the platform for taring and press the ON/TARE
button.
The display will return to zero, eliminating the weight of the container.
2. Put the material or object to be weighed in the container.
The net weight will be displayed.
3. Remove everything from the scale.
The display will show a negative weight.
4. Press ON/TARE again to remove the tare weight.
Scale weight returns to 0.
Auto Off
To save battery power, the scale turns off automatically approximately one and
a half minutes after the last key press or weight change.
Changing Unit of Measure
Press the UNITS button to change the unit of measure from g to kg to lb/oz.
General Information
Do not put excess weight or drop items on the scale. This could damage the
weighing mechanism and/or affect the accuracy of the scale.
Do not use or store the scale in a high temperature, high humidity or high
vibration area.
The batteries should be replaced when the low voltage symbol displays. The
display shows LLLLL when the battery voltage is too low to run the scale.
Remove the batteries from the scale when it will not be used for an extended
period of time.
The scale does NOT come with an AC adaptor.
Use a mild soap solution with a cloth to clean the scale, by spraying the cloth
and wiping the scale. Do not use any harsh chemical cleaner. Do not wash
down or immerse the scale in any way as this would cause permanent
damage.
WARNING: Do not let liquid get inside the scale as this could cause a
short circuit.

Notice d’utilisation
Fonctionnement
1. Placer les piles fournies dans le compartiment des piles au bas de la
balance. S’assurer que la polarité des piles correspond aux marques à
l’intérieur du compartiment. Remettre le couvercle du compartiment.
2. Placer la balance sur une surface plate et stable.
3. Appuyer sur la touche ON/TARE (MARCHE/TARE).
Lorsque 0 s’affiche, la balance est prête pour la pesée. Voir
Changement d’unité de mesure ci-dessous.
4. Appuyer sur la touche OFF pour éteindre l’unité.
Exécution de la tare
1. Placer un récipient sur la plate-forme et appuyer sur la touche ON/TARE
(MARCHE/TARE).
L’affichage retourne au zéro, éliminant le poids du récipient.
2. Placer l’objet ou le matériel à peser dans le récipient.
Le poids net est affiché.
3. Enlever tout ce qui se trouve sur la balance.
L’afficheur affiche un poids négatif.
4. Appuyer à nouveau sur ON/TARE (MARCHE/TARE) pour supprimer la tare.
Le poids de la balance revient à 0.
Mise à l’arrêt automatique
Pour conserver l’énergie de la pile, la balance se met automatiquement à
l’arrêt pendant approximativement trente secondes après la dernière pression
ou après un changement de poids.
Changement d’unité de mesure
Appuyer sur la touche UNITS (UNITÉS) pour modifier l’unité de mesure de g
à kg à lb/oz.
