CPM112R Installation Instructions
The Extron CPM112R is a full rack width, 1U high rack mounting panel that allows the
installation of multiple MAAPs into an equipment rack as a single unit. The CPM112R
has 6 double space MAAP openings that can be populated with up to 12 single space or
6 double space MAAPs.
To attach MAAPs to the CPM112R panel and install it into a rack:
1. Cable the rear of the MAAPs to be installed before attaching them to the panel.
If applicable, refer to the cabling information in the documentation for the MAAPs.
2. Use the mounting screws provided with the MAAPs to secure them to the panel. See
the figure on the reverse side of this card. If desired, fill unused openings with blank
MAAPs.
3. For strain relief, use tie wraps to secure the cables to the panel’s cable management
rail.
4. Hold the panel (with the MAAPs attached) against the rack, aligning the holes in the
panel with those in the rack.
5. Secure the panel to the rack using the supplied machine screws. See the figure on the
reverse side of this card.
