correctly adhered to.

• Always follow basic safety precautions and accident prevention measures when using
an electrical dryer.
• Before turning on the dryer, ensure the electrical voltage and frequency of the circuit
corresponds to those indicated on the rating label of the dryer.
• It is strongly recommended that you connect the dryer to a separate circuit serving only
this dryer. This provides the best performance and prevents overloading the house
wiring circuits that could overheat and cause a fire hazard.
• Do not use an extension cord with this dryer unless completely necessary. If an
extension cord is used, ensure that it has a rating equal to or exceeding the rating of
this dryer.
• Do not pull or carry the dryer by the cord, use the cord as a handle, close a door on the
cord or pull the cord around sharp edges or corners. Keep the cord away from heated
surfaces.
• Do not bend or damage the power cord.
• Never force the plug into an outlet.
• Always unplug the dryer when not in use. To disconnect from the power supply, grip the
plug and pull from the electrical outlet. Never pull by the cord. The plug must be
removed from the electrical outlet before cleaning, maintenance or moving the dryer.
• Do not move or lift the dryer while the power cord is still connected to the electrical
outlet or still on. Always ensure it is switched off and has cooled down before moving.
• Do not use the dryer if the plug, cord or the dryer itself is damaged.
• Unless your home is already fitted with a residual current device (safety switch), it is
recommended to install an RCD with a rated residual operating current not exceeding
30mA to provide additional safety protection when using electrical dryers. See your
electrician for professional advice.
• The dryer is intended for indoor household use only and not for commercial purposes.
• Do not use the dryer for other than its intended use.
• The dryer is not a toy. Supervise young children to ensure they do not play with this
dryer.
