1 Front Handle
Handle for the operator's front hand.
2 Drive Tube
Pole pruner shaft.
3 Loop Handle (only forest variant)
Handle for the operator's front hand.
4 Carrying Ring
For connecting a harness to the pole pruner.
5 Chain Sprocket
Drives the saw chain.
6 Side Chain Tensioner
Permits precise adjustment of saw chain ten‐
sion.
7 Oil Filler Cap
For closing the oil tank.
8 Guide Bar
Supports and guides the saw chain.
9 Saw Chain
Toothed cutting tool consisting of cutters, tie
straps and drive links.
10 Hook
Helps hold the pole pruner steady against the
branch during cutting.
11 Extended Hook (only forest variant)
Helps hold the pole pruner steady against the
branch during cutting and helps to remove the
branches.
12 Chain Sprocket Cover
Covers the chain sprocket.
13 Nut
Tightens the chain sprocket cover.
14 Limbing Sight
Helps the operator position the bar and chain
for the cut.
15 Chain Scabbard
Covers the guide bar and saw chain to
reduce the risk of injury from inadvertent con‐
tact during transportation and storage.
16 Battery
Supplies electrical power to the motor.
17 Battery LEDs
Indicate the battery's state of charge and dis‐
play error messages regarding potential mal‐
functions in the battery or power tool.
18 Push Button
Activates the battery's LEDs.
19 Locking Levers
Secure the battery in the battery compart‐
ment.
20 Battery Compartment
Holds the battery.

Mounting Recess Cover

Covers the mounting area for a Smart Con‐
nector 2 A.
22 Control Handle
Handle for the operator's rear hand.
23 Trigger Switch Lockout
Must be depressed to allow activation of the
trigger switch.
24 Retaining Latch
For switching the pole pruner on.
25 LED
Indicate the unit's power level.

Remove the mounting recess cover only to install a Smart Connector 2 A. Store it safely for later rein‐
stallation. Always use the power tool with the mounting recess cover in place or with the Smart Con‐
nector 2 A mounted.
