MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Select a location on a wall that is out of direct
2. Depending on surface material, you may need to pre
drill a hole to install mounting screw. Installation
should be made using a 1-1/2" #8 screw (not
included). Drive screw into surface leaving
approximately 1/2" protruding.
3. Line up hanger over protruding screw head and slide
down until the unit is firmly in place.
Do not mount in direct sunlight, near a heat source, or
near a large body of water as these situations could
affect the proper air temperature reading.
Mount securely and protected from the wind to prevent
against any damage from being knocked off the mount-
ing screw and falling to the ground.
Ultraviolet light from sunlight can prematurely
weather the product.
EXPOSURE:
THERMOMETER INSTRUMENT INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Mount instrument in a place where it will not
receive direct heat from the sun or reflected from
another surface.
2. If mounted on a wall, it should not be a heated wall
or over a window or opening which leads from heated
structure.
3. When mounted correctly the instrument should
indicate the ambient air temperature to plus or
minus 2°F.
4. Temperature is affected by many factors; cloudy
days, day or night and your thermometer will only
measure the temperature at the place where it is
mounted.
