Introduction

Congratulations on the purchase of your new appliance.

You have chosen a high-quality product.

The operating instructions are part of this product. They contain

important information on safety, usage and disposal. Before using the product,

please familiarise yourself with all operating and safety instructions. Use the

product only as described and for the range of applications specied. Keep

these operating instructions as a reference and store them near the product.

Please also pass these operating instructions on to any future owner.

Proper use

This appliance is intended for shredding paper, credit cards, CDs/DVDs as well

as small staples (sizes: 24/6 and 23/6 (11.5 x 6 mm), B-8 (11.5 x 7 mm),

No10 (8.4 x 5 mm) and paper clips (up to 25 mm) in private households.

The appliance is not intended for any other purpose, nor for use beyond the

scope described. The appliance is not intended for use in commercial or industrial

environments.

The manufacturer accepts no responsibility for damage caused by failure to

observe these instructions, improper use or repairs, unauthorised modications

or the use of unapproved replacement parts. The risk is borne solely by the user.

Package contents and transport inspection

► Do not allow children to play with packaging materials.

There is a risk of suﬀocation.

♦ Remove all parts of the appliance and the operating instructions from the

carton.

♦ Remove all packaging materials from the appliance.

Safety information

The following safety instructions must always be followed when using electrical

appliances:

DANGER! RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!

► Do not use the appliance if the power plug or the power cable is damaged.

To prevent accidents, have defective plugs and/or power cables replaced

immediately by an authorised specialist technician or our Customer Service

department.

► Appliances which do not work properly or have been damaged must be

checked immediately and repaired by Customer Service.

► Do not expose the appliance to rain, and never use it in a humid or wet

environment.

► Take steps to ensure the power cable never becomes wet or moist during

use. Never touch the plug or the appliance with wet hands.

► Do not kink or crush the power cable or place heavy objects on it. Route

the power cable so that it does not come into contact with hot surfaces.

► Do not place the appliance in the direct vicinity of any sources of heat or

water. There is a risk of re or of receiving an electrical shock!

► Only one person should operate the shredder at a time.

► Never leave the appliance unattended during operation.

Keep loose clothing, long hair, jewellery, etc. at a safe

distance from the cutter opening.

Never insert your ngers into the cutter opening.

Keep children away from the appliance. They could hurt themselves.

► Do not use the appliance in dusty or explosive environments (ignitable

gases, vapours or vapours from organic solvents). Risk of explosion!

► Never insert your nger into the central hole of a CD when you are feeding

it into the appliance.

► Keep pets away from the appliance. They could hurt themselves.

► This tool is not intended for use by persons (including children) with limited

physical, physiological or intellectual abilities or lack of experience and/

or knowledge, unless they are supervised by a person who is responsible

for their safety, or receive instructions from this person on how to use the

appliance.

► The packaging material can be a source of danger for children. Dispose

of the material immediately after unpacking or keep it in a safe place not

accessible to children.

► Route the power cable in such a way that no one can tread on it or trip

over it.

Moving parts

► This appliance is not suitable for use by children.

► Keep your hands, clothes and hair away from the insertion

opening.

► Disconnect the mains power plug if you do not intend to use

the device for an extended period of time.

Sharp edges

► Avoid touching the sharp edges of the appliance.

CAUTION! PROPERTY DAMAGE!

► Do not use the appliance outdoors. The appliance could be irreparably

damaged!

► Do not overload the appliance. The paper shredder is designed for brief

operating periods.

► Never use the paper shredder for purposes for which it is not designed or

intended.

NOTES ON SAFE USE

► Always position the appliance close to a power socket. Do not use an

extension cable. Ensure that the appliance and the power socket are easily

and quickly accessible in the event of an emergency.

► In case of danger, pull the plug out of the power socket immediately.

► Remain alert at all times! Always pay attention to what you are doing and

always use common sense. Do not use the appliance if you are distracted

or feeling unwell.

Assembly

WARNING! – RISK OF INJURY!

► Do not connect the appliance to a power socket during assembly.

► The cutting blades in the cutter attachment 3 of the appliance are very

sharp. Take extreme care when assembling the appliance.

♦ Place the appliance base t at on the oor with the rear side downwards.

♦ Fit the plain castors 0 on the front and the castors with locking levers q

on the rear of the base t. Press the castors into the holes on the appliance

base t until you hear them click into place (see g. 1).

♦ Place the appliance base t on the castors after tting them.

♦ Hold the cutter attachment 3 by the two integrated carrying recesses 5

and position it over the appliance base t so that the power cable 1 points

backwards and the opening in the appliance base t points forwards.

♦ Press the cutter attachment 3 rmly downwards until you hear it lock into

place on the appliance base t (see g. 2).

♦ Place the small waste collector w in the large waste collector e (see g. 3).

♦ Slide the large waste collector e t fully into the appliance base (see g. 4).

NOTE

► The large waste collector e t must be pushed fully into the appliance base

until you hear it click into place. Otherwise, the appliance will not start!

► The safety switch 4 will not be deactivated until the large waste collector

e has been pushed in correctly, allowing the appliance to be used.

Transport

♦ The appliance comes with four castors 0/q for easy transport. Release

the levers on the two castors with locking levers by pushing the levers q

upwards (see g 5). The appliance can now be rolled conveniently.

♦ Press the levers on the two castors with locking levers q downwards once

you have parked the appliance in order to prevent the appliance from rolling

away (see g. 6).

NOTE

► Use the castors only on even surfaces. Do not roll the appliance over

shag-pile carpets (e.g. okati, tufted). These could block the castors.

► Always hold the appliance by the two integrated carrying recesses 5 to

lift it up.

First use

NOTE

► Make sure the REV/OFF/AUTO/FWD switch 8 is in the OFF position

before plugging the appliance into the power socket.

► Every shredder is tested for functionality after manufacture. It is possible

that you may nd paper residue in the cutting blades.

♦ Insert the plug into a mains power socket.

Operation

Switching the appliance on

♦ Move the REV/OFF/AUTO/FWD switch to the 8 AUTO position for

shredding. The power lamp 6 lights up permanently blue and the

appliance is now ready for use.

NOTE

► Make sure the large waste collector e is inserted correctly into the appli-

ance base and has clicked into place! Otherwise the appliance will not t

start! The power lamp 6 only lights up once the large waste collector e

is pushed all the way into the appliance base t.

Inserting paper

CAUTION! PROPERTY DAMAGE!

Never feed paper into the cutter opening 9 if it still has paper

clips or staples larger than 25 mm attached! These could damage

the cutting blades.

You can shred up to 10 sheets (80 g/m

2 paper) at the same time.

Insert paper into the middle of the cutter opening for

paper from above and in portrait format (see g. 7). 9

The appliance starts automatically and switches itself oﬀ

automatically if no further paper is inserted.

NOTE

► Regularly remove any residue left in the cutting blades with a suitable

object (e.g. brush or tweezers). Ensure that the appliance is unplugged

before doing this.

Inserting credit cards

Insert the credit card from above into the middle of the

CD/credit card cutter opening (see g. 8) and move 2

the REV/OFF/AUTO/FWD FWD switch to the 8

(“forward”) position.

You can only shred one credit card at a time. Always insert

the card into the CD/credit card cutter opening 2 with

the wide side rst. Otherwise, the magnetic strip will not be

destroyed.

NOTE

► Always insert the credit card into the middle of the CD/credit card cutter

opening 2. Otherwise, the shredding process will not start.

► If you want to ensure that the information on the magnetic strip is irrevocably

destroyed, insert the credit card into the middle of the cutter opening for

paper 9 and move the REV/OFF/AUTO/FWD FWD switch to the 8

position.

Note that the residue will then fall into the large waste collector e.

If necessary, empty this beforehand in order to keep paper and plastic

waste separate.

Inserting a CD

WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!

► Never insert your nger into the central hole of a CD when you are feeding

it into the appliance.

Insert the CD from above into the middle of the CD/credit

card cutter opening (see g. 9). You can only shred 2

one CD at a time.

Clearing a material blockage

♦ Move the REV/OFF/AUTO/FWD REV switch to the 8 ("reverse") position

if the material being shredded causes a jam. The appliance now goes into

reverse and the material is ejected.

♦ Alternatively, move the REV/OFF/AUTO/FWD switch 8 to the FWD

("forward") position if the material causes a blockage. The appliance is now

in forwards operation and the material that is being shredded is pulled in

again.

♦ Move the REV/OFF/AUTO/FWD switch 8 to the position as soon as OFF

the jammed material has been ejected.

Turning the appliance oﬀ

NOTE

► We recommend that you switch oﬀ the appliance and let it cool down for

about 30 minutes after 3 minutes of operation to prevent overheating.

♦ Switch the appliance oﬀ by moving the REV/OFF/AUTO/FWD switch 8 to

the OFF position. The power lamp 6 goes out.

Overheating protection

This appliance is tted with overheating protection. If the motor overheats due to

overloading, the appliance switches itself oﬀ automatically. The overheat lamp 7

lights up permanently red until the motor has cooled down suﬃciently.

If this occurs, do the following:

► Pull the power plug out of the power socket to prevent unintended starting

of the appliance.

♦ Switch the appliance oﬀ by moving the REV/OFF/AUTO/FWD switch 8 to

the middle OFF position.

♦ Empty the waste collectors w e/ .

♦ Allow the appliance to cool down for about 30 minutes.

♦ Replace the plug in the mains power socket.

♦ Switch the appliance on by moving the REV/OFF/AUTO/FWD switch

to the position. The AUTO overheat lamp 7 no longer lights up once the

appliance has cooled down suﬃciently.

Emptying the waste collectors

WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!

► Remove the power plug from the power socket to prevent the appliance

from accidentally switching on.

NOTE

► Empty the waste collectors w e / regularly to prevent the shredded

material from being drawn into the cutting blades from below.

► Dispose of the waste material in an environmentally-responsible manner.

♦ Pull the large waste collector e t out of the appliance base .

♦ Take the small waste collector w out of the large waste collector e.

♦ Empty the large waste collector e w and small waste collector separately.

♦ Place the small waste collector w back in the large waste collector e

(see g. 3).

♦ Slide the large waste collector e t fully into the appliance base again

until you hear it click into place (see g. 4).

Cleaning

DANGER! RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!

► Always pull out the plug before cleaning the appliance. There is a risk of

electric shock!

WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!

► The appliance becomes hot during use. Allow the appliance to cool down

completely before cleaning it.

► Do not touch the cutting blades of the appliance with your ngers.

The cutting blades are very sharp!

CAUTION! PROPERTY DAMAGE!

Do not spray any oil or other lubricants into the cutter openings /2 9.

These can irreparably damage the appliance.

► To avoid irreparable damage to the appliance, ensure that no moisture

gets into it during cleaning.

► Do not use caustic, abrasive or solvent-based cleaning materials. These can

damage the surfaces of the appliance.

♦ Remove any residue left in the cutting openings 2 9 / or cutting blades

with a suitable object (e.g. brush or tweezers). Ensure that the appliance is

unplugged before doing this.

♦ Clean the surfaces of the appliance with a soft, dry cloth.

♦ Use a lightly moistened cloth and a mild detergent to remove stubborn dirt

residues from the appliance surface.

Storage when not in use

♦ If you decide not to use the appliance for a long period, disconnect it from

the mains power supply and store it in a clean, dry place away from direct

sunlight.

Troubleshooting

If there is a jam in the appliance

This means that you may have attempted to feed too much paper into the appli-

ance (max. 10 sheets 80 g/m2 paper).

♦ Move the REV/OFF/AUTO/FWD switch 8 to the REV position if the paper

causes a blockage. The appliance now goes into reverse and the material is

ejected.

♦ Alternatively, move the REV/OFF/AUTO/FWD switch 8 to the FWD

position if the paper causes a blockage. The appliance is now in forwards

operation and the material that is being shredded is pulled in again.

♦ Pull the paper out of the appliance and then move the REV/OFF/AUTO/

FWD switch 8 to AUTO.

The appliance is now ready for use again.

If the appliance suddenly stops working

This means that the appliance has overheated and the automatic safety cut-out

has activated itself. The overheat lamp 7 lights up permanently red.

♦ Move the REV/OFF/AUTO/FWD switch 8 to the position. OFF

♦ Remove the plug from the mains power socket.

♦ Allow the appliance to cool down for about 30 minutes.

♦ Replace the plug in the mains power socket.

♦ Switch the appliance on by moving the REV/OFF/AUTO/FWD switch

to the position. The lights up permanently blue. AUTO power lamp 6

The overheat lamp 7 remains oﬀ when the appliance has cooled down

suﬃciently.

If the appliance cannot be switched on

♦ Make sure the cutter attachment 3 is tted correctly on the appliance base t.

♦ Make sure the waste collector e is pushed all the way into the appliance

base t.

♦ Try a diﬀerent socket.

♦ The appliance is possibly defective. Have the appliance checked by a

qualied technician.

♦ The appliance has overheated and triggered the automatic safety cut-out.

Proceed as described in the section above If the appliance suddenly stops

working.

Disposal

Disposal of the appliance

The adjacent symbol of a crossed-out wheelie bin means that this appliance is

subject to Directive 2012/19/EU. This directive states that this appliance may

not be disposed of in normal household waste at the end of its useful life, but

must be brought to a specially set-up collection point, recycling depot or

disposal company.

This disposal is free of charge for the user. Protect the environ-

ment by disposing of this appliance properly.

Your local community or municipal authorities can provide information on how to

dispose of the product.

The product is recyclable, subject to extended producer responsibility and is

collected separately.

Disposal of the packaging

The packaging materials have been selected for their environmental friendliness

and ease of disposal and are therefore recyclable.

Dispose of packaging materials that are no longer needed in accordance with

applicable local regulations.

Dispose of the packaging in an environmentally friendly manner.

Note the labelling on the packaging and separate the packaging material

components for disposal if necessary. The packaging material is labelled with

abbreviations (a) and numbers (b) with the following meanings:

1–7: plastics,

20–22: paper and cardboard,

80–98: composites

Dear Customer,

This appliance has a 3-year warranty valid from the date of purchase. If this product

has any faults, you, the buyer, have certain statutory rights. Your statutory rights

are not restricted in any way by the warranty described below.

Warranty conditions

The warranty period starts on the date of purchase. Please keep your receipt in a

safe place. This will be required as proof of purchase.

If any material or manufacturing fault occurs within three years of the date of

purchase of the product, we will either repair or replace the product for you or

refund the purchase price (at our discretion). This warranty service requires that

you present the defective appliance and the proof of purchase (receipt) within

the three-year warranty period, along with a brief written description of the fault

and of when it occurred.

If the defect is covered by the warranty, your product will either be repaired

or replaced by us. The repair or replacement of a product does not signify the

beginning of a new warranty period.

Warranty period and statutory claims for defects

The warranty period is not prolonged by repairs eﬀected under the warranty.

This also applies to replaced and repaired components. Any damage and

defects present at the time of purchase must be reported immediately after un-

packing. Repairs carried out after expiry of the warranty period shall be subject

to a fee.

Scope of the warranty

This appliance has been manufactured in accordance with strict quality guide-

lines and inspected meticulously prior to delivery.

The warranty covers material faults or production faults. The warranty does not

extend to product parts subject to normal wear and tear or to fragile parts which

could be considered as consumable parts such as switches, batteries or parts

made of glass.

The warranty does not apply if the product has been damaged, improperly used

or improperly maintained. The directions in the operating instructions for the

product regarding proper use of the product are to be strictly followed. Uses and

actions that are discouraged in the operating instructions or which are warned

against must be avoided.

This product is intended solely for private use and not for commercial purposes.

The warranty shall be deemed void in cases of misuse or improper handling, use

of force and modications / repairs which have not been carried out by one of

our authorised Service centres.

Sie haben sich damit für ein hochwertiges Produkt entschieden.

Die Bedienungsanleitung ist Bestandteil dieses Produkts. Sie enthält

wichtige Hinweise für Sicherheit, Gebrauch und Entsorgung. Machen Sie sich vor

der Benutzung des Produkts mit allen Bedien- und Sicherheitshinweisen vertraut.

Benutzen Sie das Produkt nur wie beschrieben und für die angegebenen

Einsatzbereiche. Bewahren Sie die Bedienungsanleitung immer als Nachschlage-

werk in der Nähe des Produkts auf. Händigen Sie alle Unterlagen bei Weiterga-

be des Produkts an Dritte mit aus.

Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung

Dieses Gerät ist ausschließlich zum Zerkleinern von Papier, Kreditkarten, CDs / DVDs

sowie kleinen Heftklammern in den Größen 24/6 und 23/6 (11,5 x 6 mm), B-8

(11,5 x 7 mm), No10 (8,4 x 5 mm) und Büroklammern (bis 25 mm) in privaten

Haushalten bestimmt. Eine andere oder darüber hinausgehende Benutzung gilt

als nicht bestimmungsgemäß. Das Gerät ist nicht zur Verwendung in gewerbli-

chen oder industriellen Bereichen vorgesehen.

Ansprüche jeglicher Art wegen Schäden aus nicht bestimmungsgemäßer Verwen-

dung, unsachgemäßen Reparaturen, unerlaubt vorgenommener Veränderungen

oder Verwendung nicht zugelassener Ersatzteile sind ausgeschlossen. Das Risiko

Sicherheitshinweise

Die folgenden Sicherheitshinweise müssen beim Einsatz von elektrischen Geräten

in jedem Fall berücksichtigt werden:

GEFAHR! ELEKTRISCHER SCHLAG!

► Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht, wenn der Netzstecker oder das Netzkabel

beschädigt sind. Lassen Sie beschädigte Netzstecker oder Netzkabel so-

fort von autorisiertem Fachpersonal oder dem Kundendienst austauschen,

um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.

► Lassen Sie Geräte, die nicht einwandfrei funktionieren oder beschädigt

wurden, sofort von autorisiertem Fachpersonal oder vom Kundendienst

untersuchen und reparieren.

► Setzen Sie das Gerät nicht dem Regen aus und benutzen Sie es auch

niemals in feuchter oder nasser Umgebung.

► Achten Sie darauf, dass das Netzkabel während des Betriebs niemals

nass oder feucht wird. Fassen Sie den Netzstecker oder das Gerät

niemals mit nassen Händen an.

► Knicken oder quetschen Sie das Netzkabel nicht und stellen Sie keine

schweren Gegenstände darauf. Verlegen Sie das Netzkabel so, dass es

nicht in Kontakt mit heißen Oberächen kommt.

► Stellen Sie das Gerät nicht in der Nähe von Wärme- oder Wasser-

quellen auf. Es besteht Brandgefahr und die Gefahr eines elektrischen

Schlages!

► Den Aktenvernichter jeweils nur durch eine Person bedienen.

► Das Gerät während des Betriebs niemals unbeaufsichtigt lassen.

Halten Sie lose Kleidung, lange Haare, Schmuck u. Ä. von der

Schneidöﬀnung fern.

Stecken Sie nie die Finger in die Schneidöﬀnung.

Halten Sie Kinder vom Gerät fern. Diese können sich verletzen.

► Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht in staubigen oder explosionsgefährdeten

Umgebungen (entzündliche Gase, Dämpfe, Dämpfe von organischen

Lösungsmitteln). Explosionsgefahr!

► Stecken Sie nicht Ihre Finger in das zentrale Loch der CD, wenn Sie diese

in das Gerät einführen.

► Halten Sie Tiere vom Gerät fern. Diese können sich verletzen.

Scharfe Kanten

► Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht im Freien. Das Gerät kann irreparabel

beschädigt werden!

► Überlasten Sie das Gerät nicht. Der Aktenvernichter ist für kurze Betriebs-

zeiten ausgelegt.

► Verwenden Sie den Aktenvernichter niemals zweckentfremdet.

HINWEISE ZUM SICHEREN VERHALTEN

► Stellen Sie das Gerät in unmittelbarer Nähe zur Netzsteckdose auf. Benut-

zen Sie kein Verlängerungskabel. Sorgen Sie dafür, dass das Gerät und

der Netzstecker leicht zugänglich und im Notfall problemlos erreichbar

sind.

► Ziehen Sie bei Gefahr sofort den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose.

► Seien Sie stets aufmerksam! Achten Sie immer darauf, was Sie tun und

gehen Sie stets mit Vernunft vor. Benutzen Sie das Gerät in keinem Fall,

wenn Sie unkonzentriert sind oder sich unwohl fühlen.

Montage

WARNUNG! VERLETZUNGSGEFAHR!

► Schließen Sie das Gerät während der Montage nicht an eine Netzsteck-

dose an.

► Die Schneidmesser im Schneidaufsatz 3 des Gerätes sind sehr scharf.

Gehen Sie bei der Montage des Gerätes sehr vorsichtig vor.

♦ Legen Sie die Gerätebasis t mit der Rückseite nach unten ach auf den

Boden.

♦ Montieren Sie die Rollen 0 an der Vorderseite und die Rollen mit Feststell-

hebeln q an der Rückseite der Gerätebasis t. Drücken Sie die Rollen in die

Löcher der Gerätebasis t, bis sie hörbar einrasten (siehe Abb. 1).

♦ Stellen Sie die Gerätebasis t auf die Rollen, nachdem Sie diese montiert

haben.

♦ Fassen Sie den Schneidaufsatz 3 an beiden integrierten Tragemulden 5

und setzen Sie ihn so herum auf die Gerätebasis , dass das Netzkabel t 1

nach hinten und die Öﬀnung der Gerätebasis t nach vorne zeigt.

♦ Drücken Sie den Schneidaufsatz 3 fest nach unten, bis er hörbar auf der

Gerätebasis t einrastet (siehe Abb. 2).

♦ Montieren Sie den kleinen Auﬀangbehälter w e im großen Auﬀangbehälter

(siehe Abb. 3).

♦ Schieben Sie den großen Auﬀangbehälter e vollständig in die Gerätebasis t

(siehe Abb. 4).

HINWEIS

► Der große Auﬀangbehälter e muss vollständig in die Gerätebasis t

geschoben werden, bis er mit einem Klickton hörbar einrastet. Ansonsten

startet das Gerät nicht!

► Nur wenn der große Auﬀangbehälter korrekt eingeschoben ist, wird der

Sicherheitsschalter 4 deaktiviert und das Gerät kann benutzt werden.

Transport

♦ Um den Transport des Gerätes zu vereinfachen, besitzt es vier Rollen 0/q.

Lösen Sie die Hebel an den beiden Rollen mit Feststellhebeln q, indem

Sie die Hebel nach oben drücken (siehe Abb 5). Das Gerät lässt sich nun

bequem rollen.

♦ Drücken Sie die Hebel an den beiden Rollen mit Feststellhebeln q nach

unten, wenn Sie das Gerät an einer Stelle abgestellt haben, um ein Fortrollen

des Gerätes zu vermeiden (siehe Abb. 6).

HINWEIS

► Verwenden Sie die Rollen nur auf ebenen Flächen. Rollen Sie das Gerät

nicht auf Langorteppichen (z. B. Flokati, Fransen). Diese können die Rollen

blockieren.

► Fassen Sie das Gerät immer an den beiden integrierten Tragemulden 5,

um es hochzuheben.

Erste Inbetriebnahme

HINWEIS

► Stellen Sie sicher, dass sich der Schalter REV/OFF/AUTO/FWD 8 in

der Position bendet, bevor Sie das Gerät an eine Netzsteckdose OFF

anschliessen.

► Da jeder Aktenvernichter nach der Herstellung auf Funktionalität geprüft wird,

kann es passieren, dass sich Papierreste in den Schneidmessern benden.

♦ Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in eine Netzsteckdose.

Bedienung

Gerät einschalten

♦ Stellen Sie den Schalter REV/OFF/AUTO/FWD 8 zum Zerkleinern in die

Position AUTO. Die Leuchte power 6 leuchtet durchgehend blau und das

Gerät ist nun einsatzbereit.

HINWEIS

► Achten Sie darauf, dass der große Auﬀangbehälter e korrekt in die

Gerätebasis t eingesetzt und eingerastet ist! Ansonsten lässt sich das

Gerät nicht starten! Die Leuchte power 6 leuchtet erst, wenn der große

Auﬀangbehälter e vollständig in die Gerätebasis t eingeschoben ist.

Papier einführen

ACHTUNG! SACHSCHADEN!

Stecken Sie niemals Papier, an welchem sich noch Büro- oder Heft-

klammern, die größer als 25 mm sind, benden, in die Schneid-

öﬀung 9! Diese können die Schneidmesser beschädigen.

HINWEIS

Sie können bis zu 10 Blatt (80g/m

2-Papier) gleichzeitig schneiden.

Führen Sie das Papier im Hochformat von oben mittig in die

Schneidöﬀnung Papier 9 ein (siehe Abb. 7). Das Gerät

startet automatisch und schaltet sich auch automatisch

wieder ab, wenn kein weiteres Papier zugeführt wird.

HINWEIS

► Entfernen Sie regelmäßig eventuelle Rückstände in den Schneidmessern

mit einem geeigneten Gegenstand (z. B. Bürste oder Pinzette). Stellen Sie

sicher, dass dabei der Netzstecker gezogen ist.

Kreditkarte einführen

Führen Sie die Kreditkarte von oben mittig in die Schneid-

öﬀnung CD/Kreditkarte ein (siehe Abb. 8) und 2

schieben Sie den Schalter REV/OFF/AUTO/FWD 8 in

die Position („forward” [englisch] = vorwärts). FWD

Sie können jeweils nur eine Kreditkarte schneiden. Führen

Sie diese immer mit der breiten Seite voran in die Schneid-

öﬀnung CD/Kreditkarte 2 ein. Ansonsten wird der

Magnetstreifen nicht zerstört.

HINWEIS

► Führen Sie die Kreditkarte immer mittig in die Schneidöﬀnung CD/Kredit-

karte 2 ein. Ansonsten startet der Schneidvorgang nicht.

► Wenn Sie sicher gehen wollen, dass die Informationen auf dem Magnet-

streifen unwiederruich zerstört werden, führen Sie die Kreditkarte mittig

in die Schneidöﬀnung Papier 9 ein und schieben Sie den Schalter REV/

OFF/AUTO/FWD

8 in die Position . FWD

Beachten Sie, dass die Abfälle dann in den großen Auﬀangbehälter e

fallen. Leeren Sie diesen gegebenenfalls vorher, um den Papier- und Plastik-

müll besser trennen zu können.

CD einführen

WARNUNG! VERLETZUNGSGEFAHR!

► Stecken Sie nicht Ihre Finger in das zentrale Loch der CD, wenn Sie diese

in das Gerät einführen.

Führen Sie die CD von oben mittig in die Schneidöﬀnung

CD/Kreditkarte ein (siehe Abb. 9). Sie können jeweils 2

nur eine CD schneiden.

Materialstau beheben

♦ Schieben Sie den Schalter REV/OFF/AUTO/FWD 8 in die Position REV

(„reverse” [englisch] = rückwärts), falls das Schneidgut stecken bleibt. Der

Rückwärtslauf ist nun eingeschaltet und das Schneidgut wird wieder ausge-

geben.

♦ Alternativ schieben Sie den Schalter REV/OFF/AUTO/FWD 8 in die

Position („forward” [englisch] = vorwärts), falls das Schneidgut stecken FWD

bleibt. Der Vorwärtslauf ist nun eingeschaltet und das Schneidgut wird weiter

eingezogen.

♦ Stellen Sie den Schalter REV/OFF/AUTO/FWD 8 in die Position , OFF

sobald das Schneidgut ausgegeben ist.

Gerät ausschalten

HINWEIS

► Es wird empfohlen, nach 3 Minuten Betrieb das Gerät auszuschalten und

für ca. 30 Minuten abkühlen zu lassen, um eine Überhitzung zu vermeiden.

♦ Schalten Sie das Gerät aus, indem Sie den Schalter REV/OFF/AUTO/

FWD

8 in die Position stellen. Die Leuchte OFF power 6 erlischt.

Überhitzungsschutz

Dieses Gerät ist mit einem Überhitzungsschutz ausgestattet. Wenn der Motor

aufgrund von Überlastung zu heiß wird, schaltet sich das Gerät automatisch aus.

Die Leuchte overheat leuchtet durchgehend rot, bis sich der Motor ausrei-7

chend abgekühlt hat.

Gehen Sie in diesem Fall folgendermaßen vor:

WARNUNG! VERLETZUNGSGEFAHR!

► Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose, um ein unbeabsichtig-

tes Einschalten zu vermeiden.

♦ Schalten Sie das Gerät aus, indem Sie den Schalter REV/OFF/AUTO/

FWD

8 in die mittlere Position OFF stellen.

♦ Leeren Sie die Auﬀangbehälter w e/ .

♦ Lassen Sie das Gerät für ca. 30 Minuten abkühlen.

♦ Stecken Sie den Netzstecker wieder in die Netzsteckdose.

♦ Schalten Sie das Gerät ein, indem Sie den Schalter REV/OFF/AUTO/

FWD

8 in die Position stellen. Die Leuchte AUTO overheat 7 leuchtet

nicht mehr, wenn das Gerät ausreichend abgekühlt ist.

► Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose, um ein unbeabsichtig-

tes Einschalten des Gerätes zu vermeiden.

HINWEIS

► Leeren Sie die Auﬀangbehälter w e / regelmäßig aus, um zu verhindern,

dass Schneidgut von unten in die Schneidmesser eingezogen wird.

► Führen Sie die Abfälle einer umweltgerechten Entsorgung zu.

♦ Ziehen Sie den großen Auﬀangbehälter e t aus der Gerätebasis heraus.

♦ Nehmen Sie den kleinen Auﬀangbehälter w aus dem großen Auﬀangbe-

hälter e.

♦ Leeren Sie den großen Auﬀangbehälter e und den kleinen Auﬀangbe-

hälter separat.w

♦ Montieren Sie den kleinen Auﬀangbehälter w wieder im großen Auﬀangbe-

hälter (siehe Abb. 3).e

♦ Schieben Sie den großen Auﬀangbehälter e wieder vollständig in die

Gerätebasis , bis er mit einem Klickton hörbar einrastet (siehe Abb. 4).t

Reinigung

GEFAHR! ELEKTRISCHER SCHLAG!

► Ziehen Sie vor jeder Reinigung den Netzstecker. Es besteht die Gefahr

eines elektrischen Schlages!

WARNUNG! VERLETZUNGSGEFAHR!

► Das Gerät wird während des Betriebs heiß. Lassen Sie das Gerät erst

vollständig abkühlen, bevor Sie es reinigen.

► Berühren Sie die Schneidmesser des Gerätes nicht mit den Fingern. Die

Schneidmesser sind sehr scharf!

ACHTUNG! SACHSCHADEN!

Sprühen Sie kein Öl oder andere Schmiermittel in die Schneidöﬀnun-

gen /2 9. Diese würden das Gerät irreparabel beschädigen.

► Stellen Sie sicher, dass bei der Reinigung keine Feuchtigkeit in das Gerät

eindringt, um eine irreparable Beschädigung des Gerätes zu vermeiden.

► Verwenden Sie keine ätzenden, scheuernden oder lösungsmittelhaltigen

Reinigungsmittel. Diese können die Oberächen des Gerätes angreifen.

♦ Entfernen Sie eventuelle Rückstände in den Schneidöﬀnungen 2 9 / oder

den Schneidmessern mit einem geeigneten Gegenstand (z. B. Bürste oder

Pinzette). Stellen Sie sicher, dass dabei der Netzstecker gezogen ist.

♦ Reinigen Sie die Oberﬂächen des Gerätes mit einem weichen, trockenen

Tuch.

♦ Verwenden Sie bei hartnäckigen Verschmutzungen der Geräteoberﬂäche ein

leicht feuchtes Tuch mit einem milden Spülmittel.

Lagerung bei Nichtbenutzung

♦ Sollten Sie das Gerät längere Zeit nicht benutzen, trennen Sie es von der

Stromversorgung und lagern Sie es an einem sauberen, trockenen Ort ohne

direkte Sonneneinstrahlung.

Fehlerbehebung

Wenn das Schneidgut im Gerät stecken bleibt

Dies bedeutet, dass Sie möglicherweise zu viel Papier in das Gerät eingeführt

haben (max. 10 Blatt 80g/m2).

♦ Schieben Sie den Schalter REV/OFF/AUTO/FWD 8 in die Position , REV

falls das Schneidgut stecken bleibt. Der Rückwärtslauf ist nun eingeschaltet

und das Schneidgut wird wieder ausgegeben.

♦ Alternativ schieben Sie den Schalter REV/OFF/AUTO/FWD 8 in die

Position , falls das Schneidgut stecken bleibt. Der Vorwärtslauf ist nun FWD

eingeschaltet und das Schneidgut wird weiter eingezogen.

♦ Ziehen Sie das Schneidgut aus dem Gerät heraus und stellen Sie dann den

Schalter REV/OFF/AUTO/FWD 8 auf .AUTO

Das Gerät ist nun wieder betriebsbereit.

Wenn das Gerät plötzlich stehen bleibt

Dies bedeutet, dass das Gerät überhitzt ist und sich die automatische Sicherheits-

abschaltung aktiviert hat. Die Leuchte leuchtet durchgehend rot.overheat 7

♦ Stellen Sie den Schalter REV/OFF/AUTO/FWD 8 in die Position . OFF

♦ Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose.

♦ Lassen Sie das Gerät für ca. 30 Minuten abkühlen.

♦ Stecken Sie den Netzstecker wieder in die Netzsteckdose.

♦ Schalten Sie das Gerät ein, indem Sie den Schalter REV/OFF/AUTO/

FWD 8 in die Position stellen. Die Leuchte AUTO power 6 leuchtet durch-

gehend blau. Die Leuchte overheat 7 bleibt erloschen, wenn das Gerät

ausreichend abgekühlt ist.

Wenn sich das Gerät nicht einschalten lässt

♦ Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Schneidaufsatz 3 korrekt auf der Gerätebasis t

montiert ist.

♦ Stellen Sie sicher, dass der große Auﬀangbehälter e vollständig in die

Gerätebasis t eingeschoben ist.

♦ Probieren Sie eine andere Netzsteckdose aus.

♦ Das Gerät ist eventuell defekt. Lassen Sie das Gerät von qualiﬁziertem

Fachpersonal überprüfen.

♦ Das Gerät ist überhitzt und die automatische Sicherheitsabschaltung ist

aktiviert. Gehen Sie so vor wie im vorherigen Abschnitt Wenn das Gerät

plötzlich stehen bleibt beschrieben.

Sie erhalten auf dieses Gerät 3 Jahre Garantie ab Kaufdatum. Im Falle von

Mängeln dieses Produkts stehen Ihnen gegen den Verkäufer des Produkts gesetz-

liche Rechte zu. Diese gesetzlichen Rechte werden durch unsere im Folgenden

dargestellte Garantie nicht eingeschränkt.

Garantiebedingungen

Die Garantiefrist beginnt mit dem Kaufdatum. Bitte bewahren Sie den Kassenbon

gut auf. Dieser wird als Nachweis für den Kauf benötigt.

Tritt innerhalb von drei Jahren ab dem Kaufdatum dieses Produkts ein Material-

oder Fabrikationsfehler auf, wird das Produkt von uns – nach unserer Wahl – für

Sie kostenlos repariert, ersetzt oder der Kaufpreis erstattet. Diese Garantieleis-

tung setzt voraus, dass innerhalb der Dreijahresfrist das defekte Gerät und der

Kaufbeleg (Kassenbon) vorgelegt und schriftlich kurz beschrieben wird, worin

der Mangel besteht und wann er aufgetreten ist.

Wenn der Defekt von unserer Garantie gedeckt ist, erhalten Sie das reparierte

oder ein neues Produkt zurück. Mit Reparatur oder Austausch des Produkts

beginnt kein neuer Garantiezeitraum.

Garantiezeit und gesetzliche Mängelansprüche

Die Garantiezeit wird durch die Gewährleistung nicht verlängert. Dies gilt auch

für ersetzte und reparierte Teile. Eventuell schon beim Kauf vorhandene Schäden

und Mängel müssen sofort nach dem Auspacken gemeldet werden. Nach Ablauf

Garantieumfang

Das Gerät wurde nach strengen Qualitätsrichtlinien sorgfältig produziert und vor

Auslieferung gewissenhaft geprüft.

Die Garantieleistung gilt für Material- oder Fabrikationsfehler. Diese Garantie

erstreckt sich nicht auf Produktteile, die normaler Abnutzung ausgesetzt sind und

daher als Verschleißteile angesehen werden können oder für Beschädigungen an

zerbrechlichen Teilen, z. B. Schalter, Akkus oder Teile, die aus Glas gefertigt sind.

Diese Garantie verfällt, wenn das Produkt beschädigt, nicht sachgemäß benutzt

oder gewartet wurde. Für eine sachgemäße Benutzung des Produkts sind alle

in der Bedienungsanleitung aufgeführten Anweisungen genau einzuhalten.

Verwendungszwecke und Handlungen, von denen in der Bedienungsanleitung

abgeraten oder vor denen gewarnt wird, sind unbedingt zu vermeiden.

Das Produkt ist nur für den privaten und nicht für den gewerblichen Gebrauch

bestimmt. Bei missbräuchlicher und unsachgemäßer Behandlung, Gewaltanwen-

dung und bei Eingriﬀen, die nicht von unserer autorisierten Serviceniederlassung

vorgenommen wurden, erlischt die Garantie.

Le mode d'emploi fait partie intégrante de ce produit. Il contient des

remarques importantes concernant la sécurité, l'utilisation et le recyclage. Avant

d'utiliser le produit, veuillez vous familiariser avec toutes les consignes d'utilisation

et de sécurité. N'utilisez le produit que conformément aux descriptions et pour

les domaines d'utilisation prévus. Conservez toujours le mode d'emploi comme

Utilisation conforme

Cet appareil est exclusivement destiné à déchiqueter du papier, des cartes de

crédit, des CD / DVD et de petites agrafes de tailles 24/6 et 23/6 (11,5 x 6mm),

B-8 (11,5 x 7mm), No10 (8,4 x 5mm) et trombones (jusqu'à 25cm) dans

le cadre d'un usage privé. Tout usage autre ou dépassant ce cadre est réputé

non conforme. Cet appareil n'est pas conçu pour être utilisé dans des secteurs

commerciaux ou industriels.

Les prétentions de toute nature pour dommages résultant d'une utilisation non

conforme, de réparations inappropriées, de modiﬁcations réalisées sans auto-

risation ou du recours à des pièces de rechange non autorisées sont exclues.

Matériel livré et inspection après le transport

Consignes de sécurité

Veuillez impérativement respecter les consignes de sécurité suivantes lors de

l'utilisation d'appareils électriques:

DANGER! RISQUE D'ÉLECTROCUTION!

► N'utilisez pas l'appareil si la ﬁche secteur ou le cordon d'alimentation est

endommagé. Faites remplacer immédiatement les ﬁches secteur ou les

cordons d'alimentation endommagés par des techniciens spécialisés

agréés ou par le service après-vente, pour éviter tous dangers.

► Faites contrôler immédiatement les appareils, dont le fonctionnement est

déﬁcient ou qui ont été endommagés, par des techniciens spécialisés

agréés ou par le service après-vente.

► N'exposez pas l'appareil à la pluie et ne l'utilisez jamais dans un environ-

nement humide ou mouillé.

► Veillez à ce que le cordon d'alimentation ne soit jamais mouillé ou

humide pendant le fonctionnement de l'appareil. Ne saisissez jamais la

ﬁche secteur ou l'appareil avec les mains mouillées.

► Ne pliez pas ou n'écrasez pas le cordon d'alimentation et ne posez pas

d'objets lourds dessus. Placez le cordon d'alimentation de manière à ce

qu'il ne soit pas en contact avec des surfaces brûlantes.

► Ne placez pas l'appareil à proximité de sources de chaleur ou de points

d'eau. Sinon, il y a un risque d'incendie et d'électrocution!

Ne vous approchez pas de la fente de coupe avec des

N'insérez jamais les doigts dans les fentes de coupe.

Maintenez les enfants à distance de l'appareil. Ils peuvent en eﬀet se

blesser.

► N'utilisez pas l'appareil dans des milieux poussiéreux ou des atmos-

phères explosives (gaz inﬂammables, vapeurs, vapeurs de solvants

organiques). Risque d'explosion!

► N'introduisez jamais les doigts dans le trou central du CD lorsque vous

insérez ce dernier dans l'appareil.

► Maintenez les animaux à distance de l'appareil. Ils peuvent en eﬀet se

blesser.

CONSIGNES POUR UN COMPORTEMENT SÛR

► Installez l'appareil à proximité immédiate d'une prise secteur. N'utilisez

pas de rallonge. Veillez à ce que l'appareil et la ﬁche secteur soient

facilement accessibles et puissent être atteints sans problèmes en cas

d'urgence.

► En cas de danger, débranchez immédiatement la ﬁche secteur de la prise

secteur.

► Soyez toujours attentif! Faites toujours attention à ce que vous faites

et agissez toujours raisonnablement. N'utilisez en aucun cas l'appareil

lorsque vous n'êtes pas concentré ou lorsque vous vous sentez mal.

Montage

AVERTISSEMENT! RISQUE DE BLESSURE!

► Ne branchez pas l'appareil sur une prise secteur pendant le montage.

► Les lames du dispositif de coupe 3 de l'appareil sont extrêmement tran-

chantes. Procédez de ce fait avec la plus grande prudence lors du montage.

♦ Placez la base de l’appareil t le dos vers le bas à plat au sol.

♦ Montez les roulettes 0 sur le devant et les roulettes avec levier de blocage q

au dos de la base de l’appareil . Poussez les roulettes vetrs le bas dans les

trous situés sur la base de l'appareil jusqu'à ce qu'elles s'enclenchent de t

manière audible (voir ﬁg. 1).

♦ Retournez la base de l’appareil t sur les roulettes après les avoir montées.

♦ Saisissez le dispositif de coupe 3 au niveau des deux poignées encastrées

intégrées 5 tet placez-le sur la base de l'appareil de manière à ce que

le cordon d'alimentation 1 pointe vers l'arrière et que l'ouverture de la base

de l'appareil t pointe vers l'avant.

♦ Poussez bien le dispositif de coupe 3 vers le bas jusqu'à ce qu'il s'enclenche

REMARQUE

► Le grand collecteur e doit être entièrement poussé dans la base de

l'appareil jusqu'à ce qu'il s'enclenche de manière audible. Dans le cas t

contraire, l'appareil ne démarrera pas !

► Une fois seulement que le grand collecteur est correctement enclenché,

l'interrupteur de sécurité 4 est désactivé et l'appareil peut être utilisé.

Transport

♦ Pour simpliﬁer le transport de l'appareil, ce dernier est doté de quatre

roulettes 0/q. Desserrez les leviers sur les deux roulettes avec leviers de

blocage en poussant les levier vers le haut (voir ﬁgure 5). L'appareil se q

laisse maintenant déplacer confortablement.

♦ Poussez les leviers sur les deux roulettes avec leviers de blocage q vers le

bas une fois l'appareil immobile à un endroit, aﬁn d'éviter tout déplacement

de l'appareil (voir ﬁgure 6).

REMARQUE

► Utilisez les roulettes uniquement sur des surfaces planes. Ne faites pas

rouler l'appareil sur des tapis à poils longs (par ex. ﬂokati, franges).

Ceux-ci risquent de bloquer les roulettes.

► Saisissez toujours l'appareil au niveau des deux poignées encastrées

intégrées 5 pour le soulever.

Première mise en service

REMARQUE

► Veillez à ce que l'interrupteur REV/OFF/AUTO/FWD 8 se trouve en

position OFF avant de brancher l'appareil à une prise secteur.

► Le bon fonctionnement de chaque destructeur de documents étant soumis à

un contrôle après fabrication, il peut arriver que des restes de papier soient

présents dans les lames.

♦ Branchez la ﬁche secteur dans une prise secteur.

Utilisation

Allumer l'appareil

♦ Placez l'interrupteur REV/OFF/AUTO/FWD 8 en position AUTO pour

le déchiquetage. Le témoin s'allume en bleu en permanence et power 6

l'appareil est maintenant prêt à fonctionner.

REMARQUE

► Veillez à ce que le grand collecteur e soit positionné correctement dans

la base de l'appareil et enclenché! Sinon l'appareil ne peut pas être t

démarré ! Le témoin power 6 s'allume uniquement une fois le grand

collecteur entièrement inséré dans la base de l'appareil .e t

Introduire le papier

ATTENTION! RISQUE DE DÉGÂTS MATÉRIELS!

Ne glissez jamais de papier auquel sont encore attachés des trom-

bones ou agrafes de plus de 25 mm, dans la fente de coupe ! 9

Ils risqueraient d'endommager les lames.

REMARQUE

Vous pouvez découper jusqu'à 10 feuilles (papier de 80g/m2) en

même temps.

Insérez le papier à la verticale par le haut et centré dans la

fente de coupe du papier (voir ﬁg. 7). L'appareil 9

démarre automatiquement et s'éteint aussi automatiquement

lorsque l'utilisateur n'introduit plus de papier.

► Éliminez régulièrement les résidus éventuels dans les lames avec un objet

Introduire une carte de crédit

Introduisez la carte de crédit par le haut et centrée dans la

fente de coupe des CD/cartes de crédit (voir ﬁg. 8) 2

et poussez l'interrupteur REV/OFF/AUTO/FWD 8 en

position FWD ("forward" [anglais] = en avant).

Vous ne pouvez couper qu'une carte de crédit à la fois.

Introduisez toujours la carte de crédit côté large en premier

dans la fente de coupe des CD/cartes de crédit 2. Sinon,

la bande magnétique ne sera pas détruite.

REMARQUE

► Introduisez la carte de crédit toujours centrée dans la fente de coupe des

CD/cartes de crédit 2. Sinon le processus de coupe ne démarre pas.

► Si vous voulez être sûr que les informations ﬁgurant sur la bande magnétique

soient irrévocablement détruites, introduisez la carte de crédit centrée dans

la fente de coupe du papier 9 et poussez l'interrupteur REV/OFF/AUTO/

FWD 8 en position . FWD

Veuillez noter que les déchets tombent ensuite dans le grand collecteur e.

Si nécessaire, videz celui-ci au préalable pour pouvoir mieux séparer les

déchets papier et plastique.

Introduire un CD

AVERTISSEMENT! RISQUE DE BLESSURES!

► N'introduisez jamais les doigts dans le trou central du CD lorsque vous

insérez ce dernier dans l'appareil.

Introduisez le CD par le haut et centré dans la fente de

coupe des CD/cartes de crédit (voir ﬁg. 9). Vous ne 2

pouvez couper qu'un CD à la fois.

Débourrage

♦ Faites glisser l'interrupteur REV/OFF/AUTO/FWD REV8 en position

("reverse" [anglais] = en arrière) si ce que vous souhaitez détruire reste

coincé. La marche arrière est maintenant activée et le document à détruire

est éjecté.

♦ À titre d'alternative, faites glisser l'interrupteur REV/OFF/AUTO/FWD

en position FWD ("forward" [anglais] = en avant) si ce que vous souhaitez

détruire reste coincé. La marche avant est maintenant activée et le document

à détruire est à nouveau engagé.

♦ Placez l'interrupteur REV/OFF/AUTO/FWD 8 en position OFF, dès que le

document à détruire a traversé l'appareil.

Éteindre l'appareil

REMARQUE

► Nous recommandons d'éteindre et de laisser refroidir l'appareil pendant

env. 30 minutes après 3 minutes de fonctionnement pour empêcher une

surchauﬀe.

♦ Éteignez l'appareil en amenant l'interrupteur REV/OFF/AUTO/FWD 8 en

position . Le témoin OFF power 6 s'éteint.

Protection anti-surchauﬀe

Cet appareil est équipé d'une protection anti-surchauﬀe. Si le moteur chauﬀe

trop en raison d'une surcharge, l'appareil s'éteint automatiquement. Le témoin

overheat 7 s'allume en permanence en rouge jusqu'à ce que le moteur soit

suﬃsamment refroidi.

Dans ce cas, procédez comme suit:

en position . Le témoin AUTO overheat 7 n'est plus allumé si l'appareil a

suﬃsamment refroidi.

Vider les collecteurs

► Videz les collecteurs w e/ régulièrement pour empêcher que les docu-

ments détruits soient engagés par le bas dans les lames.

► Recyclez les déchets en respectant les règles environnementales.

♦ Sortez le grand collecteur e t de la base de l'appareil .

♦ Sortez le petit collecteur w e du grand collecteur .

♦ Videz le grand collecteur e w et le petit collecteur séparément.

♦ Remontez le petit collecteur w e dans le grand collecteur (voir ﬁg. 3).

♦ Poussez à nouveau le grand collecteur e entièrement dans la base de

l'appareil jusqu'à ce qu'il s'enclenche avec un clic audible (voir ﬁg. 4).t

Nettoyage

DANGER! RISQUE D'ÉLECTROCUTION!

► Débranchez la ﬁche secteur avant chaque nettoyage. Vous encourez un

risque d'électrocution!

AVERTISSEMENT! RISQUE DE BLESSURES!

► L'appareil devient brûlant en cours d'utilisation. Laissez entièrement refroidir

l'appareil avant de le nettoyer.

► Ne touchez pas les lames avec les doigts. Elles sont très tranchantes!

ATTENTION! RISQUE DE DÉGÂTS MATÉRIELS!

Ne pulvérisez pas d'huile ou un autre lubriﬁant dans les fentes de

coupe /2 9. Ils endommageraient l'appareil de manière irréparable.

► Lors du nettoyage de l'appareil, veillez à ce qu'aucune humidité ne pénètre

dans ce dernier aﬁn d'éviter tous dégâts irréparables.

► N'utilisez pas de produits nettoyants décapants, abrasifs ou contenant des

solvants. Ils peuvent en eﬀet endommager les surfaces de l'appareil.

♦ En cas de salissures tenaces à la surface de l'appareil, utilisez un chiﬀon

légèrement humide et un produit vaisselle doux.

Rangement en cas de non-utilisation

♦ Si vous n'utilisez pas l'appareil pendant une période prolongée, coupez-le

de l'alimentation électrique et entreposez-le dans un endroit propre et sec, à

l'abri de l'exposition directe aux rayons du soleil.

Dépannage

Si le document à détruire reste bloqué dans l'appareil

Cela signiﬁe que vous avez probablement inséré une quantité excessive de

papier dans l'appareil (max. 10 feuilles de 80g/m2).

♦ Faites glisser l'interrupteur REV/OFF/AUTO/FWD 8 en position , si le REV

document à détruire reste coincé. La marche arrière est maintenant activée et

le document à détruire est éjecté.

♦ Vous pouvez également faire glisser l'interrupteur REV/OFF/AUTO/FWD 8

en position FWD, si le document à détruire reste coincé. La marche avant

est maintenant activée et le document à détruire est à nouveau engagé.

♦ Retirez le document à détruire de l'appareil et amenez l'interrupteur REV/

OFF/AUTO/FWD 8 sur .AUTO

L'appareil est à présent de nouveau prêt à fonctionner.

Si l'appareil stoppe subitement

L'appareil est en surchauﬀe et le dispositif d'extinction de sécurité automatique

s'est activé. Le témoin overheat s'allume en permanence en rouge.7

♦ Placez l'interrupteur REV/OFF/AUTO/FWD 8 en position . OFF

♦ Débranchez la ﬁche secteur de la prise secteur.

♦ Laissez refroidir l'appareil pendant env. 30 minutes.

♦ Rebranchez la ﬁche secteur dans la prise secteur.

♦ Allumez l'appareil en amenant l'interrupteur REV/OFF/AUTO/FWD 8 en

position . Le témoin s'allume en bleu en permanence. AUTO power 6

Le témoin overheat 7 reste éteint si l'appareil a suﬃsamment refroidi.

Si l'appareil ne s'allume pas

♦ Assurez-vous que le dispositif de coupe 3 est correctement monté sur la

base de l'appareil .t

♦ Assurez-vous que le grand collecteur e est entièrement inséré dans la base

♦ Essayez avec une autre prise secteur.

♦ L'appareil est peut-être défectueux. Faites contrôler l'appareil par un technicien

qualiﬁé.

♦ Il y a surchauﬀe de l'appareil et le dispositif d'extinction de sécurité automa-

tique s'est activé. Procédez dans ce cas comme décrit à la section précé-

dente .Si l'appareil stoppe subitement

Recyclage

Recyclage de l'appareil

Le symbole ci-contre, d'une poubelle barrée sur roues, indique que l'appareil doit

respecter la directive 2012/19/EU. Cette directive stipule que vous ne devez

pas éliminer cet appareil en ﬁn de vie avec les ordures ménagères, mais le

rapporter à des points de collecte, des centres de recyclage ou des entreprises

de gestion des déchets spécialement équipés à cette ﬁn.
