be pulled into a tub, sink, or toilet.
• DO NOT reach for a charger base that has fallen into water; unplug

Have the unit checked by an Authorized Service Center after it

Never force the plug into the outlet.
• DO NOT submerge the charger base in water or any other liquids.

used by, on, or near children or disabled persons.

not working properly, if it has been dropped or damaged,
or if it has been immersed in water. Refer to an Authorized Service Center for
repair.
• DO NOT excessively bend or pull the cord. Unplug the cord by grasping the plug
– NOT THE CORD.
• Use this product only for its intended use as described in this manual.
Only use attachments recommended by the manufacturer.
• This product is designed for teeth cleaning only – not for any other purpose.

MEDICAL WARNING: For your safety:
• Contact your dentist prior to use if you have had oral surgery in the previous 12

• When you start any new oral hygiene program, your gums may initially bleed
slightly. Contact your dentist if excessive bleeding occurs or if the bleeding

gums may occur if any part of the unit touches them.

SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
The OSCILL8™Difference
The premium OSCILL8™ Rechargeable Toothbrush is designed to provide a high level
of oral hygiene and improved oral healthcare at home. The revolutionary, 8-tuft brush
head features independently oscillating tufts of tapered bristles that reach into areas
around teeth and gums to eliminate plaque from even the tightest places. The com-
pact brush head design comfortably fits into any size mouth, making this the ideal
plaque remover for both children and adults.
Using the OSCILL8™ Rechargeable Toothbrush:
OSCILL8™in 5 Easy Steps
1. Charge the handle.
- Allow handle to charge for at least 16 hours before first use.
- Plug the charger base into an outlet, place the power handle
on the base, and let it charge for 16 hours.
- The ring of blue light around the power switch will light up
while charging.
- When fully charged, the ring light will go off. The LED light has an auto-off
function after 16 hours.
2. Attach the brush head.
- Attaches and removes with just a simple twist.
- Insert the brush head with mark pointing to mark on power handle.
- Twist clockwise, until mark on brush head and mark on power handle are
aligned.
3. Wet the bristles, apply a pea-sized amount of toothpaste, and put in mouth.
4. To help with cleaning, this unit includes a built-in timer.
5. We recommend the users to clean their teeth for 2 minutes per cycle.
 The unit has a 2-minute, auto-shutoff timer.
WARNING:Changes or modifications to this unit not expressly
approved by Conair will void the warranty. Servicing should always be
referred to an authorized service center.
WARNING: For the purposes of recharging the battery, only use the
charging base provided with this appliance.
• Do not use outdoors or operate where aerosol(spray) products are being used or
where oxygen is being administered.
• This appliance contains batteries that are non-replaceable.
Shine Even Brighter...A Few Tips For Best Results!
Clear gel or low abrasion formulations are strongly recommended to enhance the life and
performance of your brush head, but pastes may also be used. Abrasive toothpastes,
or any toothpaste with baking soda, are not recommended for use with this product. To
avoid splashing, switch the power on after placing the brush head in your mouth.
6. Turn on and go slowly, using only light pressure.
Place the bristles perpendicular to flat surface of tooth and slowly guide the brush
from tooth to tooth, pausing as you go, so bristles can work into crevices. The
OSCILL8™ Rechargeable Toothbrush will automatically provide the correct cleaning
action, so there is no need to scrub back and forth. Be sure to run brush along your
gum line. Do not apply too much pressure against the teeth. The 8-tuft brush head
features tapered bristles oscillating independently to clean effectively without strong
pressure. Brush all surfaces, including the outsides, insides, and chewing surfaces.
Pay particular attention to back molars.
7. IMPORTANT: Rinse the brush head.
After each use, leave the unit on and run warm water through the flushing hole
(see picture) and the cleaning ports on front for 15 seconds to thoroughly rinse
out toothpaste residue. If not cleaned properly, toothpaste may harden inside the
brush head and reduce the life of brush head. Towel-dry power handle and brush
head to keep clean and free of buildup.
8. It is highly recommended to flush the brush head per point 7 to prevent tooth-
paste that could harden inside the brush head and reduce the life of brush head,
or cause the eight tufts to stop oscillating or make it hard to start up.
9. After use, turn power handle upside down, shake the handle to remove excess
water inside the hollow hole in upper side of handle, drain water out after
each use.
10. After use, remove the brush head and any excess water on top of toothbrush body.
To prevent excessive water storage in this hollow hole, shake the handle to drain
water out after each use. This will prevent water being stored and jamming the
waterproof O-ring from moving.
Have Questions? We Have Answers!
My gums are tender and bleed a little. Is this normal?
- During the first few days using the OSCILL8™ unit, your gums may bleed slightly.
This is common when you begin a new oral hygiene program. After a few days, the
bleeding will generally cease and you will be on your way to healthier gums. If your
gums continue to bleed after two weeks, see your dentist.
How often should I use my OSCILL8™ RechargeableToothbrush?
- Use the OSCILL8™ Rechargeable Toothbrush to replace your manual brushing r
outine – three times daily or as recommended by your dentist.
How do I clean the charging base?
- Unplug the charger base from the outlet and clean with a cloth or tissue moistened
with warm water. Submerging the charging base or using a dishwasher is not
recommended and may cause damage or injury.
Where do I purchase replacement brush heads?
- To purchase brush heads, visit www.OSCILL8.com or call our customer service line
at 1-800-334-4031 (9am to 11pm Eastern Standard Time, Monday through Friday or
9am to 5:30pm Eastern Standard Time, Saturday and Sunday).
Having Problems? We Have Solutions!
The bristles stop oscillating or slow down during use.
- Y
ou may be applying too much pressure against the teeth. Unlike a manual brush,
the OSCILL8™ Rechargeable Toothbrush cleans effectively without strong pressure.
- If your brush head stopped working soon after you began using it, try using a
different toothpaste and rinse brush head thoroughly after each use. Regular gel
toothpastes provide excellent cleaning and extend the life of brush heads.
- Try cleaning the brush head thoroughly with warm water or mouthwash.
- Take the brush head off the handle and then turn on the unit. If the shaft
on the handle is not moving up and down rapidly, you probably need to
replace your brush head.
The instrument will not turn on.
- If the shaft on the handle is not moving up and down rapidly, battery may need to
be charged. Check to see if the charger is plugged into a live outlet, or if the
plug is controlled by a wall switch. The blue LED light should illuminate. Charge the
unit for 16 hours and try again.
- If charging is still unsuccessful, the battery may need to be replaced.
My unit is losing power.
- First, try a new brush head. Also, restore power to the battery by discharging fully
and recharging for 16 hours.
The power handle is warm to the touch.
- This is normal and is caused by the induction system used to charge the
instrument’s batteries.
Battery
Disposal
1. To remove the battery for disposal or recycling, use screwdriver (crosshead) to
release the screw at the bottom side of power handle, grip the upper side of power
handle and slide out the internal bracket.

on a hard surface in order to slide out the first piece of battery. Tap again to slide out
the second piece of battery.

program provides a convenient alternative to placing used Ni-MH batteries in the
