(1) This device is to be set upon a stable and flat location and
not to be moved while the plug is connected to power source.
Otherwise, abnormal performance could result.
(2) This device should never be disassembled, repaired, or modified
by anyone other than a repair technician.
Otherwise, fire or abnormal performance could result.
(3) Ensure a proper ground.
Imperfect grounding could lead to electric shock.
(4) Do not immerse this device in or douse it with water.
Otherwise, electric shock or a short-circuit could occur.
(5) Periodically confirm that the plug contacts are kept clean and
that they are firmly inserted into the power outlet.
Dust accumulation or imperfect contact could be the cause of
an electric shock or fire.
(6) Handle the power cord with care.
In case the power cord is processed, pulled, bundled, or a heavy
item is placed upon or squeezes it, the cord is apt to be damaged
and could cause electric shock or fire. The power cord should
not come into contact with a heat source.
(7) Ensure that the power source is from a dedicated outlet at AC
230V rated for at least 15A. Using branched sockets could be
the cause of abnormal heat, fire, etc.
(8)
Do not intentionally bend plug contacts to prevent the plug from
dropping out of the electric outlet. Imperfect contact could cause fire.
(9) In the event of abnormal odor or sound, the emission of smoke,
or in case water or a foreign substance should happen to enter
the cabinet, switch off the unit immediately and remove the plug
from the electric outlet.
Otherwise, electric shock and outbreak of fire could result.
(10) Do not touch or manipulate electrical parts such as the plug,
power source switch, etc., with wet hands. Otherwise, electric
shock could occur.
(11) Do not use this device outdoors. Using the product where rainfall
is present could cause electric leakage and/or electric shock.

(12) The disposal of this product should be performed by a specialized
contractor, a public agency, or the distributor from where the
product was purchased. (A disposal fee usually applies.) Disposal
at random could result in third-party usage for purposes other
than a food cooler, which could result in an unexpected accident.
(13) Do not allow children to use this device, and do not use it within
reach of children. Otherwise, electric shock or injury could occur.
(1) Hold the plug and not the cord when removing the plug from the
electric outlet. Not doing so could result in electric shock or fire.
(2) Do not drop this product or allow it to sustain severe shock.
Otherwise, device failure or fire may result.
(3) Discard immediately the polyethylene bag that the product was
packed inside. Keep it out of reach of children so as to prevent
incidents of suffocation.
(4) Remove the plug from the electric outlet as soon as thunder is
heard. In the event of a nearby lightning strike, abnormal
current/abnormal voltage could infiltrate through the power
source line, etc., and could possibly damage the product.
(5)
Switch off and remove the plug from the electric outlet when not in
use. Otherwise, electric shock or an electrical fire, etc., could result.
(6) Do not use the device when the power cord or plug is damaged
or when the electric outlet is loose. Usage under such conditions
could cause electric shock, short-circuit, fire, etc.
(7) Do not place heavy items on top of this product or bump
something against it. Otherwise, damage, injury, short-circuit,
electric shock, corrosion, or device failure, etc., may occur.
(8) Keep clearance around the product (100 mm or more).
The heat of the exhaust air can cause damage.
(9)
Clean the filter periodically (about once a month).
Failure to do so can cause insufficient heat release, leading a failure.
(10) Wipe off any moisture within the case as well as the body after
use and remove any foreign substances. Leaving moisture or
substances inside could cause rust and the deterioration of
cooling performance. It will also lead to malfunctioning when
used thereafter.
(11) Do not put any heavy object on the glass plate
(for the glass type only) or bump something against it.
This product cools food by activating the Peltier unit attached to the plate surface
so as to cool the plate surface to approximately 7°C. (This is the temperature at
the center of the plate surface in the condition where the room temperature is
25°C and where there is a sufficient clearance around the product.)
* The Peltier unit is the heat exchange unit that utilizes a Peltier element,
which is a type of semiconductor.
