1. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

Indicatesapotentiallyhazardoussituationwhich,

if mishandled, could result in death or serious

personalinjury.

WARNING

• Referallinstallationworktothedealerfromwhom

the speaker was purchased. Installation onto the

ceilingrequiresextensivetechnicalknowledgeand

experience.The speaker may falloff ifincorrectly

installed,resultinginpossiblepersonalinjury.

• Installtheunitonlyinalocationthatcanstructurally

supporttheweightofthespeakerandthemounting

bracket.Doingotherwisemayresultinthespeaker

falling down and causing personal injury and/or

propertydamage.

• Owing to the speaker's size and weight, be sure

thatatleasttwopersonsareavailabletoinstallthe

speaker. Failure todo so could result in personal

injury.

• Donotuseothermethodsthanspeciedtomount

thebracket.Extremeforceisappliedtothebracket

andthespeakercouldfalloff,possiblyresultingin

personalinjuries.

• Usesafetywireswheninstallingspeakers.Ifnot

used, personalinjurycouldresult if a speaker

shouldaccidentallyfall.

• Attachthesafetywiretothespeaker.Ifnotattached,

thespeakercouldfalloff,resultinginpersonalinjury.

• Use nuts and bolts that are appropriate for the

ceiling’sstructureandcomposition.Failuretodoso

maycausethespeakertofall,resultinginmaterial

damageandpossiblepersonalinjury.

• Tighten each nut and bolt securely. Ensure that

the bracket has no loose joints after installation

to prevent accidents that could result in personal

injury.

• UsetheHX-7B-WPorHX-7W-WPSpeakerSystem

in combination. Doing otherwise may cause the

speakertofalloff,resultinginpersonalinjury.

• Do not mount the speaker in locations exposed

to constant vibration. The rigging bracket can be

damagedbyexcessivevibration,potentiallycausing

the speakertofall, whichcouldresult in personal

injury.

• Avoidinstallingthespeakerinlocationsclosetothe

seashore or in indoor swimming facilities thatare

not well ventilated. In such locations, the bracket

maybevulnerabletocorrosion,eventuallyallowing

thespeakertofallresultinginpersonalinjury.

Indicatesapotentiallyhazardoussituationwhich,

ifmishandled,couldresultinmoderateorminor

personalinjury,and/orpropertydamage.

CAUTION

• Avoid touching the bracket's sharp metal edge to

preventinjury.

• Do not stand or sit on, nor hang down from the

bracketasthismaycausethespeakertofalldown

ordrop,resultinginpersonalinjuryand/orproperty

damage.

• Havethebracketcheckedperiodicallybytheshop

fromwhereitwaspurchased.Failuretodosomay

resultincorrosionordamagetothespeakerorits

riggingbracketthatcouldcausethespeakertofall,

possiblycausingpersonalinjury.

2. GENERAL DESCRIPTION

TheHY-TM7SeriesSpeakerRiggingBracketsareusedtohangtheHX-7B-WPorHX-7W-WPSpeakerSystem

directlyfromceilings,beamsorotherbuildingstructures,includingunderoutdooreaves.

3. NOTES ON INSTALLATION

• Observethefollowinginstructionswheninstallingthespeaker

system.

 Failuretodosocouldadverselyaffecttheirintendedweather-

resistantcapability,leadingtomalfunction.

· Installthespeakersysteminlocationsnotexposeddirectlyto

rain,suchasundereaves.

· Allspeakermodulesmustpointdownwardfromthehorizontal.

• Twojoined HX-7 Series SpeakerSystemscannot be installed

withthisbracket.

4. INSTALLATION

Step 1. Mountthisbrackettoaceiling,beam,etc.usingthebolts.

Boltsandnutsformountingthebracketontheceilingorbeamarenot

supplied.

Use bolts and nuts that are appropriate for the ceiling’s or beam’s

structureandcomposition.Failuretodosomaycausethespeakerto

fall,resultinginmaterialdamageandpossiblepersonalinjury.
