INSTRUCTIONS
INSPECTION Always inspect the the light for damage,
and make sure that it operates properly before use.
A - BATTERY CHARGING- Plug USB cable into charger
and a 5V (2.1A) USB power source. Put 21700 lithium ion
battery into charger. Make sure battery + connects to
the + contact in the charger. For charging status
observe the charge indicator on charger. (Note: Some
models provided with 2 individual chargers or a single
dual charger for 2 batteries)
B - BATTERY INSERTION / REMOVAL Unscrew the
locking ring on the rear of the light. Pull the switch
assembly straight out of the light. Insert / remove 2
batteries. Make sure the battery polarity is correct.
Make sure the o-rings on the switch assembly are
clean. Press it into the rear of the light. Relplace the
locking ring. Do not damage the ring by making it too
tight.
C - O-RING The two o-rings in the front and two
o-rings in back of the light along with their sealing
surfaces must be kept clean and lubricated with
silicone grease.
D - ON/OFF Turn the light ON or OFF by pressing the yellow
button on the back of the light. (Hold the button down at least
1 second) Pressing the button will make the light brighter
each time it is pushed until it turns off. There are 3 levels of
brightness plus blink (SOS).
E - TRAVEL During long travel such as flying, the batteries
should be removed from the light and carried separately in
the passenger compartment using the protective plastic
containers provided. For shorter ground based trips, the light
switch should be disabled by partially unscrewing the rear
locking ring. Test to see that the switch will not function in
this mode.
F - ACCESSORY ATTACHMENT Two 1/4-20 threaded
sockets (1.2 inchs apart) can be used for attaching UK Photo

screws, make sure that they are not too long. (They could
push through the wall of the light.) The mount will also slide
into the accessory UK Hand Mount.
