− Use the connector exclusively from systems a that have
protective voltage low (e.g. SELV or PELV according to EN
61131 2:2007).-
Warning
− To avoid accidents caused by incorrect or abusive usage (e.g.
usage bridge - on non designated devices), the connector must
only be by or connected safety personnel people, who are
familiar with the risks.
− Pay also attention to the subchapter "Application of Emergency
Stop Button and Stop Button on the Handheld Terminal" of the
chapter " Appendix: Machinery Safety" in the user manual of
the handheld terminal.

In case of incorrect installation or use, dangerous situations may arise.
− This product insert must be kept throughout the entire service
life of the product.
− The installation and application of the product may be
performed only by qualified personnel.
− When using bridge connectors, no E-stop function is given by the
handheld terminal. Therefor an additional E-stop must be present
on the machine.
− In case safety functions only are neutralised for parts of the
system/machine, other protective equipment have to be arranged
for these parts.
− In case of disconnectable emergency stop devices (e.g. wearable
programming measures devices), appropriate have to be planned
to avoid the confusion between effectual effectual -and non control
devices.
− An assessment of risk must be arranged (which risks arise when
using bridge connectors) and if necessary the contruction of the
machine and organizational arrangements must be adapted.
Caution
− Machines can take damage if case of unplugging the bridge
connector - during operation, because of the missing hot plug
compatibility stationof the remote the unplugging affects as an
E-Stop.
