product in this manual and on the packaging

We would like to thank you for purchasing the Speedy
Cleaner from LANAFORM. This appliance uses high
frequency vibrations to stimulate the transducer and
generate a 43,000Hz ultrasonic wave. Countless tiny
bubbles are produced under the eect of the ultrasonic
wave. These bubbles constantly implode under the
eect of this wave, coming into contact with the sur-
face of the item to be cleaned. The dirt is then split up
into granules, separated from the surface of the item
and absorbed into the water. So if you use clean water,
you can clearly see that, after pressing the “POWER”
button, the dirt is dispersed into the water.

Only use this appliance according to the directions
for use set out in this manual.
• Check that your network voltage corresponds to
that of the appliance.
• This appliance is not designed for use by people
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capa-
bilities (including children), or people without
experience or knowledge of the appliance, unless
it may be benecial to them and the person re-
sponsible for their safety can supervise them
and has received advice and instruction in using
the appliance. Children should be supervised
to ensure they do not play with the appliance.

Only use accessories which are recommended
by LANAFORM or which are supplied with this
appliance.
•
If the ex is damaged, it must be replaced with a
suitable ex which is available from the supplier
or after-sales department.
• Do not use this appliance if the power socket or
ex is damaged, if the appliance is not working
correctly, or if it has been dropped on the oor
or into water. Have the appliance checked and
repaired by the supplier or after-sales department.
•
Do not carry the device by the ex or use the
ex as a handle.
• Always unplug the appliance after use and prior
to cleaning.
• Do not wash the complete unit in water and do
not immerse it.
•
Unplug immediately an appliance that has fallen
into water, prior to recovering it.
• Do not plug in or unplug with wet hands.
• Electrical appliances should not be left plugged
in while unsupervised. Unplug when not in use.
•
Never use this appliance in a room where aerosol
products (sprays) are used or in a room where
oxygen is administered.
•
This appliance is designed exclusively for home use.
• If an unusual odour occurs during normal usage,
switch the appliance o, unplug it and have it
checked by the supplier or after-sales department.
• It is prohibited to dismantle this appliance your-
self, this will invalidate the guarantee.
ATTENTION
• Inlaid or damaged parts may come loose under
the eect of the ultrasonic cleaner. Do not place
delicate items in the tank for cleaning, such as
items of clothing, leather products, wooden
items, etc.

USE
The Speedy Cleaner can be used to clean the fol-
lowing items:
• Miscellaneous products: Dentures, electric razor
heads, combs, toothbrushes, etc.
•
Jewellery: Necklaces, rings, earrings, bracelets, etc.
•
Glasses and watches: Glasses, sunglasses, watch
chains, waterproof watches, etc.
• CDs, CD-ROMs, DVDs, Blue-Ray Discs, etc.
•
Stationary items: Ballpoint pen tops, printer heads,
stamps, etc.
•
Metal items: Watch parts, old coins, badges,
valves, engine parts, etc.
• Table items: Metal cutlery.
USING THE SPEEDY CLEANER
1 Open the cover and ll the stainless steel
tank with distilled water. The water level
should not exceed the “MAX” mark.
Using the cleaner without water
may damage the unit.
2 Plunge the item to be cleaned
into the steel tank.
Do not mix dierent types of metal, as
this may aect the cleaning quality.
3 Close the cover and plug in the appliance.
4 Press the “POWER” button to switch on
the unit. Then choose the cleaning cycle by
pressing the “TIMER” button and start the
programme by pressing the “ON” button.
Each time you press the “TIMER” button, the
5 cleaning cycles (1½mins; 3mins; 4½mins;
6mins; 7½mins) are successively displayed
on the screen. A blue light lights up when
the appliance is operating and the remaining
time is displayed on the screen. It is normal
to hear a gentle noise during cleaning.
5 Cleaning items
· General cleaning: It is preferable to use distilled
water for general cleaning. Items should be im-
merged in the water, the “MAX mark being should
not be exceeded.
· Improved cleaning: Add between 5 and 10ml of
gentle detergent to the water if the item to be
cleaned is stained or has not been washed for a
long time. Adding a gentle detergent accelerates
the breakdown of dirt and improves the cleaning
result. At the end of the washing cycle, rinse the
tank to remove any detergent residue.
6 At the end of the cleaning cycle, press the
“POWER” button then unplug the unit.
Open the cover and remove the item (and
accessories). To nish, empty the water
from the stainless steel tank and dry.
7 Using the holders.
· Plastic basket
Place small items in the plastic basket and im-
merse it in the tank. This reduces friction between
the item to be washed and the tank.
The plastic basket is only for cleaning small
items, as it absorbs ultrasonic energy and
consequently reduces cleaning eciency.
When using the plastic basket, please
follow the instructions for “Improved
cleaning” included in this manual.
