WEAPON SAFETY
FAILURE TO FOLLOW SAFETY AND OPERATING
MEASURES WHEN HANDLING A FIREARM OR THE
NIGHTSTICK LGL WHEN MOUNTED ON A FIREARM IS
DANGEROUS AND CAN RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY,
DAMAGE TO PROPERTY, OR DEATH.
Use of a fi rearm under any circumstance is inherently
dangerous. SERIOUS INJURY OR EVEN DEATH may
result without proper training in the safe handling of
fi rearms. Proper training should be obtained from an
accredited fi rearms safety program conducted by a
qualifi ed instructor.
Read, understand and follow all of the safety
instructions that come with your fi rearm before attaching
your new LGL.
Always assume every fi rearm is loaded and treat that
fi rearm as such.
Never point a fi rearm at anything that you are not willing
to destroy.
Never service your fi rearm or your LGL when mounted
on a fi rearm without fi rst activating the weapon’s safety (if
applicable), removing the magazine, opening the action
and physically and visually inspecting to make sure that
no ammunition is installed in the fi rearm.
WEAPON MOUNTED LIGHT SAFETY
Nightstick recommends that the LGL should only be
activated with the non-trigger hand (support hand) while
employing a two-hand grip on the weapon and with
the trigger fi nger fully outside the trigger guard when
applicable.
Thoroughly practice (employing safe training
conditions) with the LGL and an unloaded weapon.
PICATINNY AND OFFSET MOUNTS
Reverse the Picatinny Mount (LGL-SM1)
The factory-installed, standard Picatinny mount is
reversible to provide additional clearance on the rifl e or to
better position the thumbscrew.
Remove the two machine screws and split washers using
the included 2.5mm Allen wrench.
Reverse the mount and reinstall the hardware.
Change to the Offset Mount (LGL-OM1)
The offset mount can be attached to any section of a
Picatinny rail and can also be reversed.
Remove the Picatinny mount as described in section
above.
Install the offset mount onto the light and reinstall the
hardware.
NOTE: The included machine screws come with blue
threadlocker from the factory. Repeated removal and
reinstallation of the screws may necessitate adding more
threadlocker. CAUTION: Do not use red threadlocker as it
will make it too diffi cult to remove the screws in the future.
MOUNT THE LIGHT ONTO THE RIFLE
ALWAYS ENSURE HANDGUN IS SAFE AND UNLOADED
BEFORE MOUNTING THE LIGHT.
Loosen the thumbscrew on the mount.
Place the mount and light in the desired location on any
section of Picatinny rail.
Tighten the thumbscrew by hand.
Periodically check the thumbscrew for tightness.
ATTACH THE PRESSURE PAD SWITCH
Option 1: Rail Connector (NS-PIC1)
The rail connector mount can be used to attach the
pressure switch pad to any section of a Picatinny rail.
Position the mount onto the rail with the open end in the
direction you prefer.
Align the protrusions with the rail slots and snap mount
into place.
Slide the pressure switch pad into the open end of the
mount until fully seated.
Option 2: Velcro®
The included Velcro® pads come with two strips of
pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) already attached that allow
the pressure switch pad to be adhered to any clean smooth
surface of your fi rearm. The Velcro® allows the pressure
switch pad to be temporarily removed from the fi rearm.
Use the included alcohol prep pad to clean the surface of
the fi rearm where the RPS is to be attached and the back
of the RPS. Allow to dry.
Remove the backing strip from one side of the PSA tape
and attach it to the back of the RPS.
Repeat that process to attach the RPS/Velcro® pad
assembly to the fi rearm.
Apply even pressure. Allow the PSA tape to cure for
approximately 24 hours for the best adhesion.
Option 3: Vertical Fore Grip
Various aftermarket manufacturers make vertical fore
grips that the Nightstick pressure switch pad will fi t into.
The TangoDown® (models BGV-MK46 or BGV-QDSF)
vertical fore grips allow the pressure switch pad to slide
perfectly into the molded slot of their grip.
Other vertical fore grips that have the same profi le will
work with the RPS.
SECURE THE RPS CABLE TO THE RIFLE
The Wire Management Clamp (NS-WM1) is used to secure
the wire from the RPS to the rifl e to prevent a snag hazzard.
Loosen the cross screw and pull the clamp apart.
Position the RPS cable through the paths of the molded
channels of the clamp. The cable can pass straight through
one path, or turn 90 degrees under the clamp and come
out on the side.
Install clamp body onto rail at desired location to hold the
cable in place.
Reassemble clamp using guide pin bosses for alignment.
Reinstall the Allen cross screw and tighten with the
included Allen wrench. Do not overtighten.
OPERATION
Pressing either switch will activate the light. Both provide
momentary or constant-on operation.
Tail Cap Switch
Constant on/off: Press until switch clicks to turn on or off.
Momentary on: Lightly press and hold for .5 seconds or
longer. Release to turn off.
Remote Pressure Switch
Turn on/off: Press the small, square shielded switch until
it clicks to turn on or off.
Momentary on: Lightly press the long tape switch and
hold for .5 seconds or longer. Release to turn off.
STROBE WARNING
Exposure to strobing lights may cause dizziness,
disorientation, and nausea. A very small percentage of people
suffer from photosensitive epilepsy and may experience
seizures or blackouts triggered by strobing lights. For more
information from the EPILEPSY FOUNDATION about
photosensitivity and seizures, please visit www.epilepsy.
com. Anyone who has had symptoms linked to this condition
should consult a doctor before using this product.
WARRANTY
LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY
Bayco Products, Inc. warrants this product to be free
from defects in workmanship and materials for the original
purchaser’s lifetime. The Limited Lifetime Warranty includes the
LEDs, housing and lenses. Rechargeable batteries, chargers,
switches, electronics and included accessories are warranted
for a period of two years with proof of purchase. Normal wear
and failures which are caused by accidents, misuse, abuse,
faulty installation and lightning damage are excluded.
We will repair or replace this product should we determine
it to be defective. This is the only warranty, expressed or
implied, including any warranty of merchantability or fi tness
for a particular purpose.

BEFORE ATTACHING, INSPECTING
OR SERVICING THE LGL
WARNING: IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT SAFETY
MEASURES BE EMPLOYED AT ALL TIMES WHILE
HANDLING A FIREARM.
Engage the safety on the fi rearm (if applicable).
Remove the magazine from the fi rearm (if applicable).
Open the action and visually and physically inspect the
chamber to be sure it is empty.
Keep the barrel pointed in a safe direction at all times and
never place your hand in front of the muzzle.
GENERAL SAFETY WARNINGS
NOT FOR USE ABOVE HAZARDOUS LOCATIONS
DO NOT use in explosive atmospheres, near fl ammable
liquids, or where explosion proof lamps are required.
DO NOT use in the proximity of vehicles or equipment
when there is a risk of fl ammable liquids coming into
contact with the fl ashlight.
DO NOT expose the batteries to water or salt water, or
allow the batteries to get wet.
DO NOT store the batteries with metallic objects that
may cause a short circuit.
Immediately discontinue use of the batteries if they emit
an unusual smell, feel hot, change color, change shape or
appear abnormal in any way.
Keep out of the reach of children.
INSTALL THE BATTERY
ALWAYS ENSURE HANDGUN IS SAFE AND UNLOADED
BEFORE CHANGING THE BATTERY.
Fully charge one of the batteries before use and have the
other battery charged and ready as needed.
Unscrew the tail cap switch or the tail cap on the remote
pressure switch.
Insert the lithium-ion battery into the light with the
positive(+) end fi rst.
Replace the tail cap and fully tighten by hand.
OPTIONAL: The LGL-170 can also be powered using 2
CR123 batteries. Note: Lumen output may slightly be reduced.
INSTALL REMOTE PRESSURE SWITCH
The product ships with the tail cap switch pre-installed
by the factory. It can be replaced with the included Remote
Pressure Switch (LGL-RPS2).
To change to the remote pressure switch, unscrew the tail
cap switch. Install the remote pressure switch and tighten.
Keep tail cap switch for future use so the light can be
converted back to a hand-held fl ashlight in the future.
NOTE: The strain relief of the RPS can be rotated 360
degrees to aid in cable management.

L’usage d’une arme à feu est, en toute circonstance,
essentiellement dangereux. DES BLESSURES GRAVES
OU MÊME LA MORT peuvent subvenir sans formation
adéquate sur la manipulation en toute sécurité des armes à

d’un programme reconnu sur la sécurité des armes à feu

Toujours présumer que chaque arme à feu soit chargée
et traiter cette arme à feu comme telle.

Ne jamais réparer votre arme à feu ou votre lampe
LGL lorsqu’elle est montée sur l’arme sans premièrement
activer la sûreté (s’il y a lieu), enlever le chargeur, ouvrir
l’arme et vérifi er visuellement et manuellement pour vous
assurer qu’il n’y aucune munition dans l’arme à feu.
SÉCURITÉ POUR LAMPE TORCHE
MONTÉE SUR ARME
Nightstick recommande que la lampe LGL soit
uniquement activée avec la main qui n’est pas sur la
détente (main d’appui) en utilisant une prise à deux mains
et avec le doigt utilisé pour la détente complètement à
l’extérieur du pontet s’il y a lieu.
Pratiquer rigoureusement (en utilisant des conditions
d’entraînement sécuritaires) avec la lampe LGL et une
arme à feu déchargée avant l’utilisation de l’arme.
AVANT D’ATTACHER, INSPECTER OU
ENTRETENIR LA LAMPE TCM
Enclencher la sécurité de l’arme à feu (s’il y a lieu).
Enlever le chargeur de l’arme à feu (s’il y a lieu).
Le support décalé peut être fi xé à n’importe quelle
portion d’un rail Picatinny et peut également être inversé.
Retirez le support Picatinny comme décrit dans la
section ci-dessus.
Installez le support décalé sur la lampe et réinstallez le
matériel.
REMARQUE : Les vis à métaux incluses sont livrées avec
un frein-fi let bleu d’usine. Le retrait et la réinstallation répétés
des vis peuvent nécessiter l’ajout de frein-fi let. MISE EN
GARDE : N’utilisez pas de frein-fi let rouge car il sera trop
diffi cile de retirer les vis par la suite.
MONTER LA LAMPE SUR LE FUSIL
ASSUREZ-VOUS TOUJOURS QUE L’ARME EST
SÉCURITAIRE ET DÉCHARGÉE AVANT DE MONTER
LA LUMIÈRE.
Desserrez la vis à oreilles sur le support.
Placez le support et la lampe à l’emplacement souhaité
sur n’importe quelle portion du rail Picatinny.
Serrez la vis à la main.
Vérifi ez périodiquement l’étanchéité de la vis à oreilles.
ATTACHER LE CÂBLE À DISTANCE
RPS À UNE ARME À FEU
Le câble interrupteur- pression à distance peut être
attaché à l’arme à feu en utilisant différentes méthodes :
Option 1: Utilisation Du NS-PIC1
Le NS-PIC1 permet à l’utilisateur de fi xer le câble
interrupteur à pression RPS à n’importe quelle section du rail
Picatinny.
Commencer par ajuster le NS-PlC1 sur la section du rail
Picatinny à l’endroit où vous désirez que l’interrupteur à
distance RPS soit placé.
Une fois le NS-PlC1 installé, insérer l’interrupteur à
pression RPS dans le contour moulé supérieur du NS-PlC1
jusqu’à ce qu’il soit bien installé.
Option 2: Utilisation Des Tampons Velcro – 2 Pièces
Les tampons Velcro viennent avec 2 bandes adhésives
sensibles à la pression et lorsque utilisés ensembles
permettent au câble à distance d’être installé sur n’importe
quelle surface propre et lisse de votre arme à feu.
Avant l’installation, assurez-vous d’utiliser le tampon
imbibé d’alcool inclus pour nettoyer entièrement les surfaces
d’application sur l’arme à feu et l’arrière de l’embout du câble
interrupteur RPS.
Lorsque l’alcool résiduel est complètement séché, enlever
la bande arrière de la bande adhésive et l’attacher à l’arrière
de l’embout du câble interrupteur à distance.
Puis répéter la même procédure pour fi xer la bande Velcro
à l’arme à feu.
Appliquer une pression et allouer à la bande adhésive
d’adhérer pour une période d’environ 24 heures pour une
meilleure adhésion.
Option 3: Utilisation D’une Poignée Tactique Avant
Plusieurs fabricants de pièces de rechange conçoivent
des poignées verticales dans lesquelles l’interrupteur-
pression Nightstick RPS peut aisément être installé.
Les poignées verticales Tango Down (modèles BGV-
MK46 ou BGV-QDSF) à titre d’exemple permettent à
l’interrupteur à distance RPS de glisser parfaitement dans
l’encoche moulée de leur poignée spécifi que.
Toute autre poignée verticale conçue avec le même
format conviendra également.
FIXER LE CÂBLE DU PRESSOSTAT À
DISTANCE SUR LE FUSIL
Le taquet de fi xation de câble (NS-WM1) est utilisé pour
attacher le fi l du pressostat à distance au fusil afi n d’éviter
tout risque d’accrochage.
Desserrez la vis cruciforme et séparez le taquet.
Positionnez le câble du pressostat à distance à travers
les canaux moulés du taquet. Le câble peut passer
directement par un chemin ou tourner à 90 degrés sous le
taquet et ressortir sur le côté.
Installez le taquet sur le rail à l’emplacement souhaité
pour maintenir le câble en place.
Réassemblez le taquet à l’aide des goupilles de guidage
pour l’aligner.
Replacez la vis cruciforme Allen et serrez avec la clé
Allen incluse. Ne serrez pas trop.
FONCTIONNEMENT
Appuyez sur l’un ou l’autre des interrupteurs pour activer
la lumière. L’un produit un fonctionnement instantané et
l’autre constant.
Interrupteur du capuchon d’assemblage
Marche/arrêt constant : appuyez jusqu’à ce que
l’interrupteur clique pour allumer ou éteindre la lampe.
Mode instantané : appuyez et maintenez légèrement
pendant une demi-seconde ou plus. Relâchez pour
éteindre la lampe.
Pressostat à distance
Allumer/éteindre : appuyez sur le petit interrupteur carré
blindé jusqu’à ce que vous entendiez un clic pour l’activer
ou le désactiver.
Mode instantané : appuyez légèrement sur le ruban
commutateur et maintenez-le enfoncé pendant une demi-
seconde ou plus. Relâchez pour éteindre la lampe.
AVERTISSEMENT STROBOSCOPIQUE
L’exposition à des lumières stroboscopiques peut causer
des étourdissements, une désorientation et des nausées. Un
très faible pourcentage de personnes souffrent d’épilepsie
photosensible et peuvent avoir des convulsions ou des
évanouissements déclenchés par des lumières stroboscopiques.

INSTALLATION DES PILES
AVERTISSEMENT DE SÉCURITÉ: ASSUREZ-VOUS
TOUJOURS QUE L’ARME EST SÉCURITAIRE ET
DÉCHARGÉE AVANT DE CHANGER LA BATTERIE.
Chargez complètement l’une des batteries avant de
l’utiliser et ayez l’autre batterie chargée et prête au besoin.
Dévissez l’interrupteur du capuchon d’assemblage ou le
capuchon d’assemblage du pressostat à distance.
Insérez la batterie au lithium-ion dans la lampe avec
l’extrémité positive (+) en premier.
Remettez le capuchon d’assemblage et serrez-le à
la main.
FACULTATIF : Le modèle LGL-170 peut également être
alimenté à l’aide de 2 piles CR123. Remarque : le rendement
en lumen peut être légèrement réduit.
INSTALLATION DU CÂBLE RPS
La lampe torche tactique LGL-170 est fournie avec le
capuchon arrière déjà en place.
Enlevez l’interrupteur du capuchon arrière. Installez du
câble RPS (LGL-RPS2) et fi xez-le en position.

SUPPORT PICATINNY ET SUPPORT DÉCALÉ
Inversion du support Picatinny (LGL-SM1)
Le support Picatinny standard installé en usine est

NO la utilice en la proximidad de vehículos o equipos
cuando exista el riesgo de que líquidos infl amables entren
en contacto con la linterna.
NO exponga las pilas al agua o al agua salada, ni
permita que las pilas se mojen.
NO guarde las pilas con objetos metálicos que puedan
causar un cortocircuito.
Suspenda inmediatamente el uso de las pilas si emiten
un olor inusual, se sienten calientes, cambian de color,
cambian de forma o parecen anormales de alguna manera.
Mantener fuera del alcance de los niños.
INSTALACIÓN DE LA BATERÍA
SIEMPRE ASEGÚRESE DE QUE EL ARMA DE MANO
ES SEGURO Y DESCARGADO ANTES DE CAMBIAR
LA BATERÍA.
Cargue completamente una de las baterías antes de usar
y tenga la otra batería cargada y lista según sea necesario.
Desenrosque el interruptor de la tapa trasera o la tapa
trasera del interruptor de presión remoto.
Inserte la batería de ion de litio en la linterna con el
extremo positivo (+) hacia adentro.
Vuelva a colocar la tapa trasera y ajuste completamente
a mano.
OPCIONAL: la LGL-170 también se puede alimentar con
2 baterías CR123. Nota: la producción de lúmenes puede
verse algo reducida.
INSTALACIÓN DEL CABLE RPS
La linterna táctica LGL-170 viene con el interruptor del
casquillo de la tapa posterior que p3-ya está fi jado.
Retire el interruptor de la tapa posterior. Instale el Interruptor
de presión remoto (LGL-RPS2) y apriételo en su lugar.
Mantenga el interruptor del casquillo de la tapa posterior
para su uso futuro si esta luz alguna vez se convierte de
nuevo a una linterna convencional.
NOTA: el alivio de tensión del RPS se puede girar 360
grados para ayudar con la manipulación del cable.
MONTAJES PICATINNY Y OFFSET
Invierta el montaje Picatinny (LGL-SM1)
El montaje Picatinny estándar instalado de fábrica es
reversible para proporcionar espacio libre adicional en el
rifl e o para posicionar mejor el tornillo mariposa.
Retire los dos tornillos para metales y divida las
arandelas con la llave Allen de 2,5 mm incluida.
Invierta el montaje y reinstale la herramienta.
Cambiar al montaje offset (LGL-OM1)
El montaje offset se puede conectar a cualquier sección
de un riel Picatinny y también se puede invertir.
Retire el montaje Picatinny como se describe en la
sección anterior.
Instale el montaje offset en la linterna y reinstale la
herramienta.
NOTA: los tornillos para máquina incluidos vienen con
un bloqueador de roscas azul de fábrica. La extracción
y reinstalación repetidas de los tornillos pueden hacer
que sea necesario agregar más bloqueador de roscas.
PRECAUCIÓN: no use un bloqueador de roscas rojo p3-ya que
difi cultará la extracción de los tornillos en el futuro.
MONTAR LA LINTERNA EN EL RIFLE
SIEMPRE ASEGÚRESE DE QUE EL ARMA DE MANO
ES SEGURO Y DESCARGADO ANTES DE CAMBIAR LA
BATERÍA.
Afl oje el tornillo mariposa del montaje.
Coloque el montaje y la linterna en la ubicación deseada
en cualquier sección del riel Picatinny.
Ajuste el tornillo mariposa con la mano.
Revise periódicamente el tornillo mariposa para ver si
está apretado
CONECTAR EL RPS A LAS ARMAS DE FUEGO
El Interruptor de la Almohadilla de Presión RPS se puede
conectar al arma de fuego usando una variedad de métodos:
Opción 1: Usando El NS-PIC1
El NS-PIC1 permite al usuario montar el Interruptor de
la Almohadilla de Presión RPS en cualquier sección del
Riel Picatinny.
Comience colocando el NS-PIC1 sobre la sección del
Riel Picatinny en la ubicación que desee que tenga el
Interruptor de la Almohadilla de Presión remota RPS.
Una vez que el NS-PIC1 está instalado, inserte el
Interruptor de la Almohadilla de Presión RPS en el
perfi l moldeado superior del NS-PIC1 hasta que esté
completamente asentado.
Opción 2: Usando Las Almohadillas Velcro De 2 Partes
Las Almohadillas de Velcro vienen con 2 Tiras Adesivas
Sensibles a la Presión, que cuando se usan juntas, permiten
que el Interruptor de la Almohadilla de Presión RPS se adhiera
a cualquier superfi cie limpia y lisa de su arma de fuego.
Antes de la instalación, asegúrese de usar la Toallita de
Preparación de Alcohol incluida para limpiar completamente
las superfi cies de aplicación del arma de fuego y la parte
posterior del Interruptor de la Almohadilla de Presión RPS.
Una vez que el alcohol residual se haya secado por
completo, retire las tiras del respaldo de un lado del
PSA y conéctela a la parte posterior del Interruptor de la
Almohadilla de Presión RPS.
Luego repita ese mismo proceso para unir el conjunto de
Tiras de Velcro RPS al arma de fuego.
Aplique una presión pareja y permita que la cinta PSA se
seque durante aproximadamente 24 horas para mejor adhesión.
Opción 3: Usando Un Agarre Vertical
Varios fabricantes de posventa fabrican Agarres
Verticales en los que se adapta el Interruptor de la
Almohadilla de Presión RPS de la Nightstick.
Los Agarres Verticales delanteros del Tango Down
(modelos BGV-MK46 o BGV-QDSF) como ejemplo,
permiten que el Interruptor de la Almohadilla de Presión
RPS se deslice perfectamente en la ranura moldeada de
su agarre específi co.
Cualquier otro Agarre Vertical que tenga esta misma
forma también funcionaría.
ASEGURAR EL CABLE RPS AL RIFLE
La abrazadera de manipulación de cables (NS-WM1) se
utiliza para asegurar el cable del RPS al rifl e para evitar un
peligro de enganche.
Afl oje el tornillo transversal y separe la abrazadera.
Coloque el cable RPS a través de las vías de los canales
moldeados de la abrazadera. El cable puede pasar
directamente a través de una vía o girar 90 grados debajo
de la abrazadera y salir por un lado.
Instale el cuerpo de la abrazadera en el riel en la
ubicación deseada para mantener el cable en su lugar.
Vuelva a ensamblar la abrazadera con los pernos de
pasador de guía para su alineación.
Vuelva a instalar el tornillo de cruz Allen y apriételo con
la llave Allen incluida. No apriete demasiado.
OPERACIÓN
Al presionar cualquiera de los interruptores se activará
la linterna. Ambos proporcionan una operación momentánea
o constante.
Interruptor de tapa trasera
Encendido/apagado constante: presione hasta que el
interruptor haga clic para encender o apagar.
Encendido momentáneo: presione ligeramente y
mantenga presionado durante 0,5 segundos o más. Suelte
para apagar.
Interruptor de presión remoto
Encender/apagar: presione el pequeño interruptor
cuadrado blindado hasta que haga clic para encender o
apagar.
Encendido momentáneo: presione ligeramente el
interruptor de cinta larga y mantenga presionado durante
0,5 segundos o más. Suelte para apagar.
