WEAPON SAFETY
FAILURE TO FOLLOW SAFETY AND OPERATING
MEASURES WHEN HANDLING A FIREARM OR THE
NIGHTSTICK TCM WHEN MOUNTED ON A FIREARM IS
DANGEROUS AND CAN RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY,
DAMAGE TO PROPERTY, OR DEATH.
y Useofarearmunderanycircumstanceisinherently
dangerous.SERIOUSINJURYOREVENDEATHmay
result without proper training in the safe handling of
rearms. Proper training should be obtained from an
accredited rearms safety program conducted by a
qualiedinstructor.
y Read, understand and follow all of the safety
instructions that come with your rearm before
attachingyournewTCM.
y Alwaysassumeevery rearmisloadedand treatthat
rearmassuch.
y Neverpointarearmatanythingthatyouarenotwilling
todestroy.
y NeverserviceyourrearmoryourTCMwhenmounted
onarearmwithoutrstactivatingtheweapon’ssafety
(if applicable), removing the magazine, opening the
action and physicallyandvisually inspecting to make
surethatnoammunitionisinstalledintherearm.
WEAPON MOUNTED LIGHT SAFETY
y Nightstick recommends that the TCM should only be
activatedwiththenon-triggerhand(supporthand)while
employing a two-hand grip on the handgun and with
the trigger nger fully outside the trigger guard when
applicable.
y Thoroughly practice (employing safe training
conditions) with theTCM and an unloaded handgun
beforeusingtheweapon.
INSTALL THE LIGHT ONTO YOUR FIREARM
Therearmmusthaveatacticalrailandatleastonecross
railslot.TheTCMisnotdesignedtobeusedonarearmthat
doesnothaveacrossrailslot.
NOTE: The TCM comes pre-congured with the C1
modular insert. If the t is not correct for your specic
handgun model, switch to the C2, C3, C4 or C5 insert that
works best for your rearm. Correct key installation is
veried by the light positioned close to the trigger guard
with only a slight visible gap. Minimal gap ensure proper
t with most holsters.
y Push inward on the head of the rail clamp tension
thumbscrewtofullyopentheadjustableportionoftherail
clamp.
y Aligntheinserttabwiththeappropriateslotonthetactical
railofyourhandgun.RotatetherailclampoftheTCMonto
yourhandgun’srailso thattheinsert isfullyseated inthe
slot.
y Whilemakingsurethattheinsertremainsfullyseatedin
theslot,tightentherailclamptensionthumbscrewbyhand.
y Useacointofullytightenthetensionthumbscrew.
IMPORTANT: Periodically check to insure that the Allen
screws and rail clamp tension thumbscrew remain tight.

PROGRAM THE USER-SELECTABLE
SETTINGS
To program the strobe or battery safe mode, both
switchesarepressedatthesametime.Lightcanbeonoroff.
Strobeandbatterysafemodearedisabledwhenproduct
arrivesfromthefactory.
STROBE MODE
y Pressdownquickly5times(lessthan1secondbetween
presses)toenableordisablestrobemode.
y Aftervepresses,thelightwillashonandoff2timesto
conrmachangeinthestrobemode.
NOTE: The user-selected strobe mode is retained in
memorywhenbatteriesareremovedorfullydischarged.
BATTERY SAFE MODE
y Pressdownandholdfor3secondstoenableordisable
batterysafemode.
y Afterthreesecondsthelightwillashonandoff1timeto
conrmachangeinthebatterysafemode.
NOTE:Thebatterysafemoderevertstodisabledwhen
batteriesareremovedorfullydischarged.
OPERATION
Theleftand rightsideswitches operateindependently.
Activationofeitherswitchwillturnonthelight.
y Turn on/off: Press down for .5 seconds or less and
release.
y Momentaryon:Pressandholdfor.5secondsorlonger.
Releasetoturnoff.
y Ifstrobeisenabled,pressdowneitherswitchquickly2
timesandholdonthesecondpresstoturnonstrobe.(Less
than.5secondsbetweenpresses.)Stroberemainsonuntil
switchisreleased.
STROBE WARNING
Exposure to strobing lights may cause dizziness,
disorientation,andnausea.Averysmallpercentageofpeople
suffer from photosensitive epilepsy and may experience
seizuresorblackoutstriggeredbystrobinglights.Formore

WARRANTY
LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY
Bayco Products, Inc. warrants this product to be free
from defects in workmanship and materials for the original
purchaser’s lifetime. The Limited Lifetime Warranty includes
the LEDs, housing and lenses. Rechargeable batteries,
chargers,switches,electronicsandincludedaccessoriesare
warranted for aperiod of two years with proof of purchase.
Normal wear and failures which are caused by accidents,
misuse, abuse, faulty installation and lightning damage are
excluded.
Wewillrepairorreplacethisproductshouldwedetermine
it to be defective. This is the only warranty, expressed or
implied,includinganywarrantyofmerchantabilityortness
foraparticularpurpose.

y Removethemagazinefromtherearm(ifapplicable).
y Open the action and visually and physically inspect the
chambertobesureitisempty.
y Keepthebarrelpointedinasafedirectionatalltimesand
neverplaceyourhandinfrontofthemuzzle.
GENERAL SAFETY WARNINGS
y NOTFORUSEABOVEHAZARDOUSLOCATIONS
y DONOTuseinexplosiveatmospheres,nearammable
liquids,orwhereexplosionprooflampsarerequired.
y DONOTuse intheproximityof vehiclesorequipment
when there is a risk of ammable liquids coming into
contactwiththeashlight.
y DONOTexposethebatteriestowaterorsaltwater,or
allowthebatteriestogetwet.
y DO NOT store the batteries with metallic objects that
maycauseashortcircuit.
y Immediatelydiscontinueuseofthebatteriesiftheyemit
anunusualsmell,feelhot,changecolor,changeshapeor
appearabnormalinanyway.
y Keepoutofthereachofchildren.
