Overview of typical system

Loudspeaker selectors 1 through 8 - press the button in to listen to the desired loudspeakers.

The diagram below shows an overview of a typical system using 8 loudspeaker pairs

Connection from amplier - from the L (left) and (right) loudspeaker output of your receiver or amplier ( 100 watts MAX )

Single Pair Direct Switch - impedance protection switch the amplier/receiver.

Use as directed in this owners manual.

•16 or 18 gauge stranded loudspeaker wire is recommended. 14 gauge is recommended for runs longer than 50 feet.

•You can mix any combination of 4, 6, 8 and 16 ohm loudspeakers

•Wire according to local laws. Specic “ CL “ re rating may be required according to your local building codes. Your dealer may know more about obtaining such wire.

•Avoid running close to AC power wiring for safety and to avoid the possibility of picking up any noise.

Loudspeaker Connections - connections to be made from the QLS8.1 to the desired loudspeakers, with the corresponding

selector on the front panel.
