SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
BATTERY WARNING: KEEP OUT OF THE
REACH OF CHILDREN.
This product is not a toy.
Children must be supervised to ensure that they do
not handle or play with the product.
This product contains no user serviceable parts. Only a
qualified electrician should attempt repairs.
Do not insert fingers into any openings or inside
the product.
Do not place, store or use the product near direct
sunlight or direct heat sources or in a damp/high
humidity environment.
This product is a high precision device; handle it
with care.
This product is intended for domestic use only.
BATTERY SAFETY
This product is supplied with 1 x CR2032 battery. Only
batteries of the same or equivalent type as those
recommended should be used with this product.
Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity.
Exhausted batteries should be removed from the
product to avoid leakage.
WARNING
THIS PRODUCT CONTAINS
A BUTTON/COIN BATTERY
Swallowing can cause severe or fatal injuries
within 2 hours.
Keep batteries out of reach of children
(whether new or used).
If you think batteries may have been swallowed
or placed inside any part of the body, seek
immediate medical attention.
CAUTION: If the battery compartment
does not close securely, stop using the
product and keep it away from children.
WARNING: Vigilance must be maintained
with flat or spare button or coin batteries
in the home and the products that
contain them.
There are no obvious specific symptoms when a
button or coin battery is stuck in a child’s oesophagus
(food pipe). However, the child might exhibit the
following symptoms:
Coughing, gagging or drooling
Appear to have a stomach upset or virus
Vomiting
Pointing to their throat or stomach
Pain in their abdomen, chest or throat
Tiredness and lethargy
Be quieter or more clingy than usual
Loss or reduction of appetite
Refusal or inability to eat solid foods
These sorts of symptoms may fluctuate.
A specific symptom of button or coin battery ingestion
is vomiting fresh (bright red) blood. Seek immediate
medical attention if this occurs.
Care and maintenance
Wipe the exterior of the scale with a soft, damp cloth and
allow it to dry thoroughly.
Never immerse the scale in water or any other liquid.
Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaning detergents or
scourers to clean the scale, as this could cause damage.
NOTE: The removable metal bowl is
safe for dishwasher use.
Before first use
Loosen the battery safety screw and open the battery
compartment on the underside of the pop-out display.
Remove the plastic isolator tab from the battery
compartment (if present) prior to use. Check that
the battery is inserted following the correct polarity.
Close the battery compartment and tighten the battery
compartment screw. Position the scale on a firm
flat surface.
Switching on the scale
Access the pop-out display by pushing ‘EJECT’ until a
click sounds, then fully pull out the display.
To switch on the scale, press ‘
/T’. Wait until display
shows ‘0’.
Converting weight units
Press and hold ‘UNIT’ to change between metric units
(g/ml) and imperial units (lb:oz/fl.oz).
Press ‘UNIT’ to change between g (
), ml (water ), ml
(milk
), (lb:oz ( ), fl.oz (water ) and fl.oz (milk ).
Using the Add and Weigh feature
To weigh dierent pet food in one bowl, press ‘ /T’.
Switching o the scale
To switch off the scale manually, press ‘ /T’ for
2–3 seconds. Auto switch o will occur if display shows
the same weight reading for 2 minutes.
Warning indicators
Lo: Low power; change the batteries.
Err: Max. weight capacity exceeded; remove some
weight from the bowl.
-: Negative load; press ‘
/T’ to return to ‘0’.

L'ingestion peut provoquer des blessures graves, voire

Tenez les piles (neuves ou usagées) hors de portée
des enfants.
Si vous pensez que des piles ont pu être avalées ou se
trouver dans une partie du corps, consultez immédiatement
un médecin.
ATTENTION : si le compartiment à pile
ne se ferme pas correctement, cessez
d'utiliser le produit et tenez-le hors de
portée des enfants.
AVERTISSEMENT : il est essentiel d'être
vigilant avec les piles boutons ou « plates
» de rechange à la maison et avec les
produits qui en contiennent.
Il n'y a pas de symptômes spécifiques évidents indiquant
qu'une pile bouton est coincée dans l'œsophage d'un enfant.
Toutefois, l'enfant peut présenter les symptômes suivants :
Toux, suocation ou salivation
Maux d'estomac ou symptômes évoquant un virus
Vomissements
L'enfant montre sa gorge ou son ventre
Douleur dans l'abdomen, la poitrine ou la gorge
Fatigue et léthargie
L'enfant est plus calme ou plus câlin que d'habitude
Perte ou réduction de l'appétit
Refus ou incapacité de manger des aliments solides
Ce genre de symptômes peut varier.
Le fait de vomir du sang frais (rouge vif) constitue un
symptôme spécifique à l'ingestion de piles boutons.
Consultez immédiatement un médecin si cela se produit.
Entretien et maintenance
Essuyez la surface extérieure de la balance à l'aide d'un
chion doux et humide, puis laissez sécher complètement.
N'immergez jamais la balance dans l'eau ni dans tout
autre liquide.
N'utilisez pas de détergents ni de tampons à récurer
agressifs ou abrasifs pour nettoyer la balance, car cela
pourrait l'endommager.
REMARQUE : le bol en métal amovible
passe au lave-vaisselle.
Avant la première utilisation
Desserrez la vis de sécurité et ouvrez le compartiment
à pile situé sous l'écran amovible. Retirez la languette
en plastique d'isolation du compartiment à pile avant
utilisation (le cas échéant). Assurez-vous que la
pile est insérée en respectant la polarité. Fermez le
compartiment à pile et serrez la vis du compartiment à
pile. Placez la balance sur une surface plane et stable.
Mise sous tension de la balance
Accédez à l'écran amovible en appuyant sur « EJECT »
jusqu'à entendre un clic, puis tirez complètement l'écran.
Pour allumer la balance, appuyez sur «
/T ». Attendez
que « 0 » s'ache.
Conversion des unités de poids
Appuyez longuement sur « UNIT » pour basculer
entre les unités métriques (g/ml) et les unités
impériales (lb:oz/fl.oz).
Appuyez sur « UNIT » pour sélectionner l'unité de
votre choix : g (

Pour peser diérents aliments pour animaux dans le bol,

Mise hors tension de la balance
Pour éteindre la balance manuellement, maintenez le

/T » enfoncé pendant 2 à 3 secondes. L'arrêt
automatique se produira si le même poids est aché
pendant 2 minutes.
Messages d'avertissement
Lo : batterie faible. Remplacez les piles.
Err : capacité max. dépassée. Retirez un peu de poids
de la gamelle.
