INSTALLATION
INSTALLATION OF THE DECT HANDSET

! When replacing the batteries, ALWAYS use good quality Ni-MH rechargeable batteries. Never use
other batteries or conventional alkaline batteries! The use of wrong batteries can cause irrevocable
damage to your appliance!
Important!
Before you start using your cordless phone definitely, it first has to be charged during 16 hours.
• To charge the handset you should place it on the charger.
• The battery-indicator on the display indicates the status of the battery capacity.

INSTALLATION OF THE BASE PHONE

• Connect the curled cable (1).
• Click the plug of the adaptor in the connection plug on the bottom of the base phone (2) and plug the adaptor into the wall
socket.
• Click one end of the telephone cord in the connection point on the bottom of the base phone (3) and the other end in the
telephone plug. This telephone plug can now be plugged into the wall socket of your telephone connection point.
Important!
Power failure operation: The phone will continue to operate in the event of a power failure (Caller ID and
Phonebook will not function).

• To scroll through the different steps of the Programming menu.
• To adjust the voice volume during a call.
2.
• Activates programming and confirms the settings after changes.
• Activates intercom communications (while using multiple handsets).
• Transfers a call to another handset during a call (while using multiple handsets).
3.
• Switches the microphone temporarily off during a call.
• To delete numbers or characters.
• Goes to the previous position in the Programming menu.
• During programming you can always go back to Standby-mode by keeping this key pressed during 2 sec.

• To turn on/off silence function.
• To change a character from upper case to lower case or vice versa.
5.
• Turns on/off key lock function.
6.
• To call and to answer a call.
• To switch the ‘Speakerphone’ function of the handset on.
• To turn the handset on/off.
7.
• To enter the Phonebook.
• Could also be used as FLASH-key.
• Press to switch to call waiting caller.
