Thank you for choosing Silva Pavé bike light. This ultra-compact

high power bike light is designed for adventure sports users who put

performance and weight first.

The Pavé bike light is equipped with Silva Intelligent Light

which

is a light distribution technology that combines a wide angle flood

light with a long reach spot light. This unique light image gives the

user peripheral and long distance vision at the same time. For a

mountain biker or a road biker this translates into less head move-

ment, increased control, better balance and more speed.

PRODUCT OVERVIEW

The Pavé bike light consists of the following parts:

• Light unit

• Rechargeable Li-ion battery with battery case

• Charger

• Helmet attachment

• Bike handle bar attachment

• Extension cable

• Quick guide

BEFORE USE

BATTERY CHARGING

The battery needs to be charged before first use.

1. Connect the battery to the charger.

2. Connect the charger to the wall outlet.

3. On the charger there is an LED showing the battery status during

charging:

- green light = battery is fully charged (or not connected)

- red light = battery is charging

- blinking red light = battery is not working properly

Battery charging time is approximately 3 hours.

Note! When the battery is fully charged the charger automatically

switches to maintenance mode.

BIKE HANDLEBAR ATTACHMENT

The bike handlebar attachment is designed for use on bike hand-

lebars with a dimension between 25 and 32 mm. Simply mount the

attachment by wrapping the rubber strap around the handlebar and

fasten it on the plastic hook.

Attach the bike light in the bike handlebar attachment by sliding the

bike light bracket into the snap-in socket.

To remove, press the push button on the bracket and move the bike

light up and out.

HELMET ATTACHMENT

The helmet attachment comes with a pre-mounted adhesive for easy

mounting on any helmet. It is designed to not affect the protective

characteristics of the helmet.

To mount the helmet attachment, make sure the surface of the

helmet is clean and dry. Remove the protective film covering the

adhesive and press the bracket onto its correct position.

If you do not want to use the adhesive on your helmet the attach-

ment is prepared for mounting with 2 cable ties on the sides. (Not

included)

Attach the bike light in the helmet attachment by simply sliding the

bike light bracket into the snap-in socket.

To remove, press the push button on the socket and move the bike

light up and out.

FLEXIBLE BATTERY CARRYING

The battery can be carried in multiple ways; on the bike frame, the

handlebar, in a pocket, backpack or hip-bag. Use the flexible battery-

bag to attach it the way you prefer.

DURING USE

Switch on your bike light

On the side of the bike light body there is a push button which controls

all light modes.

Each press on the button gives you the following light:

1. Turns the headlamp ON with all LEDs in maximum power.

2. Both LEDs in min mode

3. Flood light LED in min mode

4. Starts over from 1

To turn OFF the headlamp; press and hold the button for 1 second.

The flash function, which is used to attract attention, is started from

OFF mode by pressing and holding the button for 1 second. To turn

OFF; press and hold the button for 1 second.

BATTERY INDICATION

During operation of the bike light there will be a low battery warning

when 20% of the battery time remains. This is done by flashing both

LEDs for 1 second and repeated again after 5 seconds.

TEMP CONTROL

Note that the bike light body temperature will increase during use.

The bike light temperature is depending on light mode, ambient air

temperature and the airflow (speed). The Pavé bike light is equipped

with a temperature control that prevents the bike light body from

overheating by reducing the power to the LEDs.

AFTER USE

MAINTENANCE

To make sure you get maximum performance from your Pavé bike

light, clean it regularly with a wet cloth.

ABOUT LIION BATTERIES

The battery should be stored in a dry environment within the tempe-

rature range of -20°C and +35°C.

If you would like to store your battery for a longer period (more than

30 days) the battery should not be fully charged. This may cause loss

of its characteristics.

Li-ion batteries has a discharge rate of approx. 20% over a 30 day

period. You can always charge a half full battery without damaging its

characteristics.

Do not expose the battery for extreme temperatures which may

cause fire or explosion.

Do not disassemble or mistreat the battery, risk for chemical burn.

Keep away from children.

Do not dispose of batteries in fire. This may cause an explosion.

Do not submerge the batteries in water.

Do not short circuit the contacts.

Replace only with Silva Pavé batteries.

Note! Always make sure to disconnect the battery when the bike light

is not used.

Bike light and batteries should be recycled and must not be thrown in

the regular trash. Dispose these items in accordance with applicable

local regulations.

WARRANTY

Silva warrants that, for a period of two (2) years, your Silva Product

will be substantially free of defects in materials and workmanship

under normal use. Silva’s liability under this warranty is limited to

repairing or replacing the product. This limited warranty extends

only to the original purchaser. If the Product proves defective during

the Warranty Period please contact the original place of purchase.

Make sure to have your proof of purchase on hand when returning

the product. Returns cannot be processed without the original proof

of purchase. This warranty does not apply if the Product has been

altered, not been installed, operated, repaired, or maintained in

accordance with instructions supplied by Silva, or has been subjected

to abnormal physical or electrical stress, misuse, negligence or acci-

dent. Neither does the warranty cover normal wear and tear. Silva is

not responsible for any consequences, direct or indirect, or damage

resultant from use of this product. In no event will Silva’s liability

exceed the amount paid by you for the product. Some jurisdictions

do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential

damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

högeffekts-pannlampan är designad för avancerade sportutövare

som prioriterar prestanda och vikt.

Cykellampan Pavé är utrustad med Silva Intelligent Light®,

en teknik för ljusdistribution som kombinerar ett brett flodljus

med fjärrljus som lyser på långt håll. Den unika ljusbilden ger

FÖRE ANVÄNDNING

BATTERILADDNING

Batteriet måste laddas upp innan det används.

1. Koppla batteriet till laddaren.

2. Koppla laddaren till vägguttaget.

3. På laddaren finns en diod som visar batteriets status under

laddningen:

- grönt ljus = batteriet är fulladdat (eller inte anslutet)

- rött ljus = batteriet laddas

- blinkande rött ljus = batteriet fungerar inte som det ska

Batteriets laddningstid är ca 3 timmar.

OBS! När batteriet är fulladdat kopplar laddaren automatiskt över till

underhållsläget.

CYKELFÄSTE

Cykelfästet har utformats för montering på cykelstyren med en

tjocklek mellan 25 och 32 mm. Sätt på fästet genom att vira gum-

miremmen runt styret och fäst det på plastkroken.

Fäst cykellampan på cykelstyrets fäste genom att enkelt snäppa fast

lampans fot i hållaren.

För att ta av lampan trycker du på knappen på hållaren, lyfter upp

och ut lampan.

HJÄLMFÄSTE

Hjälmfästet levereras med en fästdyna på baksidan för enkel monte-

ring. Fästet är utformat så att det inte påverkar hjälmens skyddande

egenskaper.

För att montera hjälmfästet, se till att hjälmen är ren och torr.

Ta bort skyddsfilmen som täcker limytan och tryck fast fästet på

rätt plats. Om du inte vill använda fästdynan på hjälmen kan fästet

monteras med två remmar på sidorna. (Medföljer ej)

Fäst lampan på hjälmfästet genom att enkelt snäppa fast lampans

fot i hållaren.

För att ta av lampan trycker du på knappen på hållaren, lyfter upp

och ut lampan.

FLEXIBEL BATTERIFÖRVARING

Batteriet kan bäras på flera sätt, exempelvis på ramen, på cykelsty-

ret, i fickan, i ryggsäcken eller på ett höftbälte. Använd den flexibla

batteriväskan för att fästa det som du önskar.

VID ANVÄNDNING

Tänd cykellampan

På sidan av lampkroppen finns en knapp som kontrollerar alla

ljuslägen.

Varje tryck på knappen ger dig följande ljus:

1. Sätter PÅ pannlampan med alla lysdioder i maximal effekt.

2. Båda lysdioderna i min-läge.

3. Flodljusdiod i min-läge.

4. Börjar om från 1.

För att släcka pannlampan håll in knappen i 1 sekund.

Blinkfunktionen, som är till för att dra till sig uppmärksamhet,

startas från OFF-läget genom att hålla in knappen i 1 sekund. För att

stänga av håll in knappen i 1 sekund.

BATTERIINDIKATOR

När pannlampan är på kommer en batterivarning visas när det är 20

% kvar av batterikapaciteten. Då blinkar båda dioderna i 1 sekund

och upprepas igen efter 5 sekunder.

TEMPERATURKONTROLL

Observera att lampans temperatur ökar under användning. Cykel-

lampans temperatur beror på ljusläge, omgivningstemperatur och

luftflöde (hastighet). Cykellampan Pavé är utrustad med en tempera-

turkontrollsenhet som hindrar lampkroppen från att bli överhettad

genom att minska strömmen till dioderna.

EFTER ANVÄNDNING

SKÖTSEL

Rengör din cykellampa Pavé regelbundet med en fuktig trasa för att

den ska hålla länge.

OM LIIONBATTERIER

Batteriet ska förvaras torrt i temperaturer mellan

–20 och +35 ºC.

Om du vill förvara batteriet en längre tid (mer än 30 dagar) ska bat-

teriet inte vara fulladdat. Det kan göra att det förlorar sin funktion.

Li-ion-batterier laddar ur ca 20 % under en 30-dagarsperiod. Det går

alltid att ladda upp ett halvfullt batteri utan att funktionen försvagas.

Utsätt inte batteriet för extrema temperaturer som kan orsaka brand

eller explosion.

Montera inte isär eller misshandla batteriet då det finns risk för

kemiska brännskador.

Förvaras utom räckhåll för barn.

Kasta inte batterier i eld. Det kan orsaka explosion.

Sänk inte ner batterier i vatten.

Kortslut inte kontakterna.

Ersätt endast med Silva Pavé batterier.

OBS! Ta alltid ur batteriet när cykellampan inte är i bruk.

defekter vid normal användning. Silvas ansvar under denna garanti

begränsas till att reparera eller ersätta produkten. Denna begrän-

sade garanti gäller endast den ursprungliga köparen.

Om produkten visar sig vara defekt under garantiperioden, kontakta

inköpsstället. Se till att p3-ha ett inköpsbevis till hands när du returne-

rar produkten. Returärenden kan inte behandlas utan originalkö-

pehandling. Denna garanti gäller inte om produkten har förändrats,

inte installerats, använts, reparerats eller underhållits enligt Silvas

instruktioner, eller har fått utstå onormal fysisk eller elektrisk

belastning, felanvändning, försumlighet eller olycka. Garantin gäller

inte heller för normalt slitage. Silva tar inget ansvar för eventuella

följdskador, direkta eller indirekta, eller skador som uppstår på

grund av produktens användning. Under inga omständigheter

överstiger Silvas ansvar det belopp du har betalat för produkten. Viss

lagstiftning tillåter inte uteslutanden eller begränsningar av orsaks-

och konsekvensskador, varför ovanstående begränsningar kanske

inte gäller dig. Denna garanti gäller och kan behandlas endast i
