anypipes.Havetheoilclosebyduringthethreadingoperation.
Handle assembly
1. TaketheHandle(2)andscrewintotheHandleExtension(3)
2. WiththeHandleandHandleExtensionassembled,screwintotheRatchetHead(1)
3. EnsuretheHandleisscrewedintightlybeforeuse
Operation
1. ChoosethecorrectsizeCuttingDie(4–7)forthepiperequired.Thepipewidthshouldbethesamesizeas
theinsertionendoftheDie(FigI).Checkbyinsertingthepipeintotheinsertion endoftheDie
2. Securethepipeinavice
3. InsertthechosenDieintotheRatchetHead(1)(FigII)
4. InsertthepipeintotheinsertionendoftheDie(FigIII)
5. UsethreadcuttingoilthoroughlyonthepipeandtheDie’scutters
6. ApplypressuretotheDieontheendofthepipeandusetheHandle(2)torotatetheRatchetHead
aroundthepipetoengagetheDie’scutterswiththepipeend(FigIV)
7. MovetheHandletousetheratchetingactionofthecuttingheadbeforethreadingmoreofthepipe.
Continuethisoperationuntilthedesiredamountofthreadonthepipeisachieved
8. PullouttheRatchetDirectionKnob(9)andchangetheratchetingdirectionbyturningit180°untilthe
arrowpointsintheoppositedirection,whichwilldisengagetheDiewhentheHandleisusedtorotate
theRatchetHead
9. UsetheHandletorotatetheRatchetHeaduntiltheDieisfullydisengagedfromtheendofthepipe
10.BecarefulnottodamagethenewthreadswhenremovingtheDiefromthepipeend

cleaningthepipeendanduseprotectiveequipmenttopreventcutsandotherinjuries.

devraitavoirlamêmelargeurquecelledel’extrémitéd’insertiondelalièrechoisie(Fig.I).Vouspouvez
envérierlataillesimplementeninsérantletuyaudansl’extrémitéd’insertion delalière.

3. Insérezlalièrechoisiedanslatêteducliquet(1)(Fig.II).
4. Insérezletuyaudansl’extrémitéd’insertiondelalière(Fig.III).
5. Versezsoigneusementl’huiledecoupepourleletagesurletuyauetsurlestranchantsdelalière.
6. Appliquezunecertainepressionsurlalièreplacéeàl’extrémitédutuyaupuis,servez-vousdumanche
(2)pourfairetournerlatêteducliquetautourdutuyauand’introduirelestranchantsdelalièredans
l’extrémitédutuyauàleter(Fig.IV).
7. Faitesbougerlemancheand’activerl’actiondecliquetdelatêtedecoupeavantdepoursuivrele
letagedutuyau.Répétezcetteopérationjusqu’àavoirobtenuleletagevoulu.
8. Tirezversvouspourlefairesortirleboutondonnantlesensderotationducliquet(9)ettournez-leà
180°jusqu’àcequelaèchesoittournéedansladirectionopposée.Cetteopérationsertàdésengagerla
lièrelorsquelemancheestutilisépourtournerlatêteducliquet.
9. Servez-vousdumanchepourfairetournerlatêteducliquetjusqu’àcequelalièresoittotalement
désengagéedel’extrémitédutuyau.
10.Soyezparticulièrementattentifànepasabîmerleletageàpeineréalisélorsquevousvoulezextrairela
lièredel’extrémitédutuyau.
